tinned fruit

Can someone please explain why tinned fruit in juice has to be synned? I can totally understand why fruit in syrup is synned but not the in juice variety.

Also do you think its possible to freeze pineapple? They are on offer at lidl here and was wondering how it would be when defrosted.

Because the canning process alters the make up of the fruit and makes it less filling.

I've never tried freezing pineapple but I'm sure that you will find an answer if you google

I have no idea, but have started using it as a B choice on the original plan x

I freeze chunks of apple and its always fine so i presume pineapple will be okay you can get frozen pineapple from tesco !!

Last summer I ate quite a lot of tinned fruit and it never affected my weight loss but that is not an endorsement to go ahead and eat it!
