Hello everyone! I have had a diary on this site before when I managed to lose 10lbs, however i started struggling and switched to WW as I had lost alot of weight on WW before. I lost a further stone which took me down to my target weight of 10 stone in time for my wedding in October :D. Now after a fantastic all inclusive honeymoon in the Maldives (absolute paradise!) and Christmas I find myself 10lbs heavier :eek: and before it becomes a stone I need to get back down to target (although I would love to be 9 stone something!). I don't go to a club and will be doing this from memory and using some old books (plus this fantastic site!) so if anyone sees anything wrong in my diary (other than the obvious 'off' days which are bound to happen :rolleyes:) please let me know, any comments or advice are welcome. Wish me luck :)

Monday 15th February 2010 - EE

HEA - 28g grated cheddar
HEB - 28g porridge oats
13.5 Syns - 1/4 Chicken casserole packet mix 1.5, 3 x Lindt chocs 12

Breakfast 8:30am:
28g porridge oats,WW toffee yoghurt,2 tbsp lf fromage frais - mixed up and left in fridge overnight - yum yum!

Snack 11am:
Red Grapes

Lunch 1pm:
Pasta, passata, tuna, courgette, red pepper, 28g cheddar
Small banana

Snack 4pm:
No snack wasn't hungry!

Dinner 5:30pm:
Chicken casserole:
Chicken,potatoes,carrots,garden peas,onion,mushrooms, 1/4 Colman's chicken casserole packet mix (1.5 Syns), Orange choc Mullerlight

Snack 8:30pm:
3 x Lindt chocolates (12 Syns)

Tuesday 16th February 2010 - EE

HEA - SS milk
HEB - 28g porridge oats
Syns - 15 - see below for details

Breakfast 7:30am:
28g porridge oats (HEB), WW toffee apple yoghurt, 2 tbsp lf fromage frais - tried this slightly warm today, VERY nice!

If anyone reads this, do you know if I should be having a Ryvita to complete my HEB with the porridge oats? Thanks.

Snack 11am:
Alpen Light choc and orange bar (3 Syns)

Lunch 1pm:
Chicken noodle mugshot
1/2 pack wafer thin chicken
WW strawberry yoghurt
Banana

Snack 4pm:
No snack wasn't hungry again!

Dinner 5:30pm:
Salmon fillet with Uncle Ben's rice and roasted veggies
Snack:
HEA milk with choc options sachet (2 Syns)
1 x Lindt choc (4 Syns)
2 x mini Aero chunky (6 syns)

Another successful day yesterday, although I need to stop using my syns on chocolate! Will just try to get through this week first and make that my target for next week!

Wednesday 17th February 2010 - Green Day

HEA x 2 - SS milk, 28g cheddar
HEB x 2 - 2 slices wm bread, 6 wm crackerbread
Syns - 14 - see below for details

Breakfast 7:30am:
2 x wm bread (HEB1-400g loaf), 2 x frylited eggs, 2 tsp Flora x light (1)

Snack 11:30am:
Red grapes

Lunch 1pm:
6 x wm crackerbread (HEB2), lf cottage cheese
Orange & choc Mullerlight
Banana

Dinner 5:30pm
Pasta with Quorn bacon bits, mushrooms, garden peas
Sauce made with - 125ml ss milk (1/2 HEA1), 3 LC x Light (1/2 HEA1)
28g cheddar on top (HEA2)

Snacks at cinema (took my own so I'm not tempted):
Revels normal size bag (8.5 Syns)
SAJ salted popcorn (2.5 syns)

Supper:
Mint options drink (2 Syns)

Wow have had 3 100% days :D, even the lovely huge hot dogs and the lovely lovely Haagen Dazs ice cream at the cinema didn't throw me off track I stuck to the snacks I had taken!

Thursday 18th February 2010 - Another Green Day

HEA1 - 250ml ss milk
HEA2 - 125ml ss milk (1/2) & 3 LC x light triangles (1/2)
HEB1 - 2 x Weetabix
HEB2 - 2 x Alpen Lights
Syns - 8 & medium glass rose wine

Breakfast 7:30am:
2 x Weetabix (HEB) with ss milk (HEA1)

Snack 11am:
Alpen Light (1/2 HEB)

Lunch 1pm:
Pasta, Quorn bacon bits, mushrooms, garden peas
Sauce made with 125ml ss milk (1/2 HEA2) & 3 LC x Light triangles (1/2 HEA2), 14g grated cheese (3 syns)
WW fromage frais strawberry (0.5?)
Small banana

Apple

Dinner 5:30pm:
SW 'roast' potatoes
Quorn sausages x 2
1/2 tin Baked beans with 1/4 pack Quorn bacon bits stirred in
'Fried' egg

Dessert:
1 rasp & white choc WW cookie crumbled (2.5 Syns), topped with
Total 0% Greek Yoghurt with
1/2 sachet Options White Choc (1 syn) and
1/2 WW rasp yoghurt mixed in topped with
raspberries and 6 white choc buttons (1 syn)

Other Alpen Light (1/2 HEB)
Have 7 more syns left to use :D or I might 'save' them for a treat tomorrow night depending how tomorrow's 'WI' goes!
Hubby bless him brought me through a glass of rose not realising you have to count wine as syns (lol!), luckily I had 7 syns left so I'm just hoping it wasn't more than that! Didn't have the heart to turn him away with it.

If anyone is reading this do you think I am eating too much?! After being on WW and being hungry I feel like I'm being greedy now! Guess I'll find out tomorrow when I WI!

First WI today and I've lost 1lb! I'm pleased with that as I never lose weight quickly, and I have only been on the plan for 4 days - it is a true weigh in though because I weighed myself last Friday, just didn't start SW til Monday. I would be happy with 1lb a week anyway :D Will be having a takeaway tonight as I refuse to cook 7 nights a week so Friday will be my 'cheat night' or 'flexi syn' day. Will try to have minimum syns throughout the day and not have massive portions of takeaway just a sensible amount.

Food for today Friday 19th February 2010 - EE

HEA - 250ml ss milk - brekkie and drinks througout day
HEB - 2 x wm bread (400g loaf)
Flexi Syns - 3 & chinese takeaway

Breakfast 7:30am:
40g pudding rice
150ml ss milk (HEA), 100ml water & sweetener
WW vanilla yoghurt mixed in after cooking

Snack 11am:
Red Grapes

Lunch 1pm:
2 x wm bread with 1 tsp Flora x light (0.5)
Cooked chicken breast slices
Morrisons Eat Smart Chicken & Mushroom Cup Soup (2.5)
WW lemon yoghurt
Fresh pineapple

Snacks 4pm:
Banana
Fresh pineapple

Dinner 7:30pm (Flexi syn night/off plan!):
Chinese takeaway:
1/2 portion plain chow mein
1/3 portion beef in satay sauce
1/2 portion bali chicken (tomatoey/garlic sauce)
1/3 portion chips
1/2 pot soya sauce gravy

No idea on syns, on extra easy today so hopefully the syn values won't be TOO high :eek: just any fat it's cooked in and any fat in the sauces (see how I'm trying to convince myself?!) Straight back on normal plan tomorrow.

Re your question about porridge - you should be having a scan bran to top up your 28g of oats. I acually like the branny taste in the porridge, and it makes it much more filling.

You should definitely try it! It was absolutely gorgeous!! I tried a similar thing with low fat fromage frais, but the Total 0% yoghurt was so much more creamier....ooh I could eat it again now...

I don't have any scan bran as I don't go to a class, would one ryvita, or a high fibre crackerbread be ok instead? Thanks.

Thought I should make an appearance seeing as the weekend is almost over, and I haven't been TOO bad. Had the chinese as planned on Friday but straight back on plan yesterday and today. Here is my weekend's food:

Saturday 20th February 2010 - EE

HEA - 250ml ss milk
HEB - Oatsosimple
Syns -15

Breakfast:
Oatsosimple (HEB) made with water and Activia 0% Cherry

Lunch:
Golden Wonder Spicy Tomato Snack Pot (1 syn I think)
Chicken slices

Snack:
1 x Guylian Praline Seashell (3 syns)

Dinner:
Chicken breast cubed
1/3 jar Sharwood's Coconut & Curry Leaf Biryani (4 Syns)
SW chips & Boiled rice
WW mini naan (5 syns)

Supper:
Double choc Options made with 250ml ss milk (HEA + 2 Syns)


Sunday 21st February 2010 - EE

HEA - 250ml ss milk
HEB - 2 x wm bread (400g loaf)
Syns -14

Breakfast:
2 x wm bread (HEB),2 x poached eggs,2tsp Flora x light (1)

Lunch:
Low fat chilli chicken supernoodles
Fresh pineapple chunks

Snack:
4 x Guylian Praline Seashells (12) - going to let my husband who bought me these for Valentine's finish these off as they are my faves and I am struggling to resist eating the lot!

Dinner:
Beef casserole (made 6 meals! Schwartz packet 6 syns):
Lean beef,onions,carrots,garden peas,potatoes,swede, parsnips,pearl barley,Schwartz mix (1), Oxo cube
Dessert:
Toffee Mullerlight mixed with Total 0% yoghurt, and sliced banana

Supper:
Sweet milky coffee - HEA

Monday 22nd February 2010 - EE - must try to include superfree food in every meal this week when doing EE - if I have fruit with my meal would this count? I am a bit of a salad dodger so struggle for superfree foods with lunches, other than fruit. Am going to try and stick to 12 syns a day this week so if I have a takeaway at the weekend the 'saved ones' will go towards that!

HEA - 250ml ss milk
HEB - 2 x Weetabix
Syns - 13

Tuesday 23rd February - feeling really tired and headachey today (TOTM) just wanted to stay at home on the sofa under the duvet watching chick flicks with a big hot chocolate haha!!:eek: Anyway I'm going to try a red day which I probably won't do very often.

HEA1 - 250ml ss milk
HEA2 - 3 x Babybel Light
HEB1 - Oatsosimple Original

2 x Babybel Light (HEA)
Slim a soup (3)

Snack 4:30pm
Apple, 1 x Babybel Light (rest of HEA)

Dinner 5:30pm:
Salmon fillet & stir fried vegetables in soy sauce
Dessert:
100g drained tinned rhubarb (1.5) topped with
1/2 rhubarb Activia (1.5) mixed with 3 tbsp lf ff

Then it went wrong, the monthly choc demon got hold of me :mad::

Wednesday 24th February - EE - feeling slightly better today, have eaten breakfast and don't feel starving again like yesterday! Hopefully the choc demon will leave me alone tonight :eek: Will try to have less than 10 syns today to help make up for yesterday.

HEA1 - 125ml ss milk, 14g cheddar
HEB1 - 2 x Alpen Lights (forgot to eat the second one!)
Syns - 7.5 (saved 7.5 which makes up for yesterday!)

Breakfast 7:40am:
40g pudding rice with 125ml ss milk (1/2 HEA) & 125ml water,
2tbsp lf ff and 1/2 vanilla Mullerlight stirred in after cooking

Snack 11am:
Alpen Light (1/2 HEB)

Lunch 1pm:
Spicy sweet & sour Mugshot
Chicken slices
WW fromage frais peach (1)

Snack 5:00pm:
6 x Mikado (1.5)

Dinner 6:00pm:
Pasta Bolognese:
Extra lean minced beef, passata with garlic & herbs, mushrooms,onions,1/2 tin tomatoes (Superfree) served with pasta and 14g cheddar (other 1/2 HEA) grated on top
Dessert:
WW apple crumble slice (5) topped with Toffee Mullerlight/lf fromage frais

Snack 9pm:
Alpen Light (other 1/2 HEB) - forgot to have this oops!!

Thursday 25th February - EE - don't 'feel' like I have lost anything this week but we will see tomorrow. It is * week though so that doesn't help!

HEA - 14g grated cheddar, 125ml ss milk

Breakfast 7:40am:
28g porridge oats (HEB) mixed with Mullerlight Cranb/Rasp and left to 'soak' overnight

Snack 10:30am:

Lunch 1pm:
Leftover bolognese:
Pasta twists,x lean minced beef,superfree - passata,1/2 tin tomatoes,mushrooms,onion - topped with 14g grated cheddar (1/2 HEA)

Snack 4pm:
Apple, chicken slices

Dinner 5:30pm:
SW chips,baked beans,superfree-2 Quorn sausages,'fried' egg,mushrooms
Dessert:
1 WW white choc & rasp cookie crumbled (2.5) topped with
1/2 Options white choc sachet (1) stirred into
Total 0% greek yoghurt & 1/2 mullerlight rasp/cranb with fresh raspberries on top

Supper 9:30pm:
1 Ginger Nut (2.5 syns)
125ml ss milk in a coffee (other 1/2 HEA)

I think Mikado are half a syn each making 3 syns for 6. Hope that doesn't upset your lovely day. Loving the sound of your dessert. i haven't had ww biscuits for a while as they used to melt into my cuppa but haven't thought about using them like that. Good idea.

Oops are they? I have no idea how I've got that you can 2 for half a syn, maybe just wishful thinking haha! As it happens I didn't have them yesterday in the end so it's ok. Thanks for that at least I can count them properly in the future :) Yeah any biscuits are nice crumbled at the bottom of a dessert but they are about the lowest ones I can find that have a flavour. My DH has choc homewheat crumbled in his sometimes (grr!) would rather have them lol...Thanks again for putting me straight :)

Hi eieioo! No the Mikado I have are the thin sticks covered in milk choc, quiet nice just to nibble on if you fancy a small choc fix! As long as you can stop at a few and not have the whole box :eek: Thanks for stopping by!
