TMI--- help..!!

    hey guys got a toilet question..! ave not been for over a week now and its making me feel really heavy and bloated.. i weighted myself today and put on 1lb since yesterday even though am SS 100%

    is there anything i can take that is still along with SS

    also do you think the 1lb gain is due to the toilet issue..?

    i've heard movicol mentioned on here
    in the longer term some people get fibre supplements from their cdc's or psyllium husk powder / colon care from holland and barrett's

    Movicol is fine :)
    Sennakot is fine :)
    Glycerine Supps are fine (with the above...attack both ends if need be;))
    Ducolax is a bit strong when on a VLCD, so avoid.

    Physillium husks, fibre 89, fibresure and all those types are preventatives, so don't use them if constipated as they can make it worse.

    Once you've sorted out the 'blockage', use the PH, fibresure or fibre 89 each day to prevent it happening in the first place :)

    Hope you get some relief shortly! a week is a long time to go (or not to go in this case!)

    i only ocassionally get this problem but i use dulcolax , the first time i was debating one or two tablets and i took one and thought it wasnt working (took it in the evening) and my god the next day i was very glad i didnt have a second tablet.
