    Now Im confused?!

    Dont take much but.... I have seen a few recipes where they use tom puree and the recipe has been free yet my friend said that its 1/2 syn?!?
    What ya reckon?!

    It is 0.5syns per tbsp but if a recipe uses 1tbsp and serves 4 it would be negligable so they say free

    Ahhhhhhh why thank you! I was a tad confused! So Ill stick to it being free - i only use for spag bol tween the family!

    I like to use tom puree with spag bol & could never quite get it to taste quite right without of so I thought!!

    I now use a carton of passata, a tsp paprika & a little sweetener, along with the tinned toms, so completely syn free & really tasty aswell!!

    my consultant told me it used to be sinned but they've now made it free as you wouldn't eat loads of it.
