Cruise PV tomato sauce

Do you have the book? There's one on page 163.
 
Hi Nicole, I make sauce all the time on Dukan... not sure how it compares to book, but its quite simple:
Tinned chopped tomatoes x 2 w/tablespoon of tomato paste
Chopped Onion (softened first with Fry Light)
Garlic puree/minced garlic
Salt & Pepper
Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, and loads of fresh basil
A bit of Splenda
I also add a cube of bouillion stock (beef or chicken depending on what I'm making with it.)

I let it cook a long time on a low simmer (to let the flavours get to know each other :)) and then serve.

Oh wait... just wrote all this and now wonder do you mean Ketchup?? DOH!! Sorry if yes - not used it being called that (I'm American). This is tomato sauce like for meatballs, etc. Oh well. Best of luck either way!
