Train Strike

missgalaxy

Yummy Mummy! xx
I have been on the phone to the train people this morning. We are meant to be travelling down to Cardiff on the 6th April by train to stay with my sister for a week.

I have to ring back up tommorrow as they are awaiting confirmation as to whether they can transfer us to the Bank holiday Monday to travel with no extra cost or if they are putting coaches on!

Keeping everything crossed :fingerscrossed:

Anyone else affected by the forthcoming strike??

Not any more, thank goodness. I commuted from Reading to Paddington every day for over 30 years, and the one thing I have never missed since I retired is that journey.

Good luck with your travel plans - I hope that the strike gets called off.

I must have had my head in the clouds as I didn't realise there was a strike looming. Must have a look as going to see my parents in a couple of weeks x

Have worked on the front line at a railway station as it were and must agree if you don't HAVE to travel then don't try. If you are intending to travel and forsee problems you'll find it easier to get your tickets changed before the date of travel.
