Hello everyone. I want to start writing down what is happening to me as I try and shift 28lbs with Exante. I'm getting married in 377 days!!! That should be plenty of time to shift the weight and learn to maintain and love my body for a change.

I've tried every diet going but nothing works for long, I need to have a break from food. Sort my head out and then learn to eat without using it for comfort and pleasure. So I'm starting with exante total solutions and follow the plan from there.

Wish me luck! I need your help!

Hello and welcome to exante OL! You'll be at goal in NO TIME and will then have plenty of time to figure out how to maintain. The first week or so will be really hard, but try to power through as it does get better and the results are soooo worth it!

Keep us posted on your progress!

I've just finished day one. Can't say I enjoyed the taste of any of the shakes, they really taste like the dairy creamer they have in them, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. They mix up a treat in my blender. I was thinking of trying them as a slushy type thing with crushed ice tomorrow to make it last longer.

I'm not hungry at all, but my stomach has been making all sorts of funny noises this evening.

I'm looking forward to my first Zumba class tomorrow....good bye fatty bum!

Hello and welcome. You will loose your 18lbs in 6-8 weeks so will have plenty of time to adjust to 'maintaining' before your wedding. Don't do what I did and lose loads of weight before I bought my dress, put it on again, then have to lose it for every fitting and then again for the wedding. I yo-yo'd for about 18 months and then after the wedding put loads of weight on hence why 9 years later I am desperate to lose it all.

    Best of luck

hey just wanted to say hi and good luck :) The first 4-5 days are really hard , but drink lots of water , keep busy ( I do lots of cleaning ) , stay in a positive frame of mind and you will be in ketosis and seeing the weight fly off with minimum effort in no time :)

Thanks everyone, it means a lot to have your support. The hunger has kicked in, especially when my OH sat down right next to me with his dinner :doh: ...my house is going to be the cleanest its ever been after the next few days lol. ElmerFudd I already have my dress, I'll not get it altered until next year. Its a bit of a tight squeeze at the moment and my belly sticks out in it...so lets hope I look a bit better in it soon!

Couldnt sleep for the life of me last night and when I finally did well past 3am
I kept waking up with nightmares. Was feeling really sick and headachy. So far this morning just feel tired but can't get back to sleep so going to start having a spring clean and then Zumba just before lunch.

Worried about the exercise and fainting does anyone do a lot of exercise?

    Bring it on day 2!

Zumba was exhausting, don't think I have sweat so much since I did my first spinning class. On the plus side it was great fun :character00116::clap::talk017: On the negative side I was awful lol...but hopefully I'll pick up the moves after a few goes.

Had my second shake of the day. Very hungry and now very tired. Going to get on with the cleaning and then have a nap. Hope everyones days are going well.

What's a powerplate Elmer? I think I have over done it a bit, Felt really rough and went for a lie down. Woke up and poas and hurrah I'm in ketosis half way through day two. Don't feel hungry now just really bloated! Is that normal? Or did I swallow
Loads of air when I whisked up my shakes?

It's one of those machines that you stand on doing various poses whilst it vibrates the life out of you :) DH bought it for me about 4 years ago and it made a great clothes horse for a few years. I was a little offended that he thought I needed/wanted one. Used it religiously 4 times a week early last year when I lost 2 stone for my 40th birthday holiday in Mauritius but seeing as I put all that weight back on and therefore dieting again I have dusted it off. Been doing it most days and have lost a total of 13.5 inches in various parts of my body. I really do believe it is helping, maybe not the weight loss but definitely the toning. Very expensive though but lots of gyms/beauty salons have them.

Oh I think I know what you mean, I've seen them at my gym but too scared to have a go for fear of my chin
Wobbling more than my bum lol.

Had a good afternoon but feel sick again,
Just downed some water in hope that my stomach will settle and hoping I will sleep tonight. Have bought some physlium (sp?) husks and some milk thistle, worried I'll end up with gallstones.

Have started knitting again to try and keep busy, wonder how many scarfs I can knit to 9st 7?

I must admit I have banned DH from watching me use it after seeing what he looked like from behind!!! Did it in my bra and knickers once which was not a pretty site. They feel a little wierd especially now I have turned the speed up but I love it and so quick. Started off at 10 minutes a day and now up to 18 minutes. Don't think I should work up to more than 20 mins as they say about 10-15 a day. Still I want to get the body of a goodness as quickly as possible (some hope with wobbly belly courtesy of DS) LOL :) Would def recommend using them though.

Well day three is here. Woke up feeling sick. POAS and its now dark red. May have had a sneaky peak at the scales and I've lost 5lbs :0clapper::0clapper::0clapper:. I know its just water weight but I don't care!!!!!!

Haven't got anything planned for today, think I'll get out of the house, go for a walk, do some shopping or something?

    Have a lovely Saturday everyone

End of day three. Still 100%. Started to feel very dizzy this afternoon whenever I stood up. Drank a load of water and had a nap and I feel better now. OH had dinner next to me, and it made me salvate so much even my nose started running lol. Bring on day 4! Think I'm going to order some soups, do they taste any good? I need a change from the shakes, I'm bored of them already.
