Tuesday Weighers

I lost 4lbs this week, got my half stone award and got SOTW! Very happy total of 10.5 off in 2 weeks set myself a target of 3.5 for next week to get my stone!

Well done on the losses!
I lost 1.5lb this week. Was hoping for 2.5lb so i'd get my 2st Award but had star week this week so really can't complain :D
 
I lost 1.5lbs on my first week :) I'm happy with that considering I was drinking on Saturday and then had a bit of a synful day at oh's Grandma's on Sunday x
 
Lost 1 pound today so grand total of 15lbs in 10 weeks only 1 more pound till club ten
 
I usually shy away when I've put on but I'm up a lb this week Finding it so hard to get back on the straight and narrow

Well i didnt go again yesterday and to be honest im 50/50 whether i will be going back. It might sound crazy but the way i eat now is more calorie based than SW based. I do find it hard to come to terms with the fact that i am having to syn things like protein shakes, milled flaxseed/linseed and i dont consider those a syn, they are all healthy and good for you. Ive worked out i am currently having about 35-40 syns a day and about 6-8 HEXb's which you might all think is like WTF but i am maintaining my weight.

I need to have a really good think about things over the course of the next week because i am questioning whether or not SW is for me anymore or if i should just go it alone. I think i need to do a list of pros and cons but dont know if that will help or make things worse lol

Anyway enough of my problems

Well done to everyone that has lost and the amount of SOTW's on here is amazing so everyone keep up the good work
 
Sounds like you know your body and how it works Craig. If you find that after a while your weight starts to creep up then you can always return to SW can't you? Either way we don't want to lose you from here!:)
 
1.5 last night on my second week! 5 pounds loss in total .... Need 2 pounds next tuesday to get my half a stone! I CAN DO IT!!!!!
it really is true, nothing tastes as good as slim feels :)

Wow just wanted to say well done on your weight loss I cannot believe it! You are such an inspiration!
 
I do think SW is good for those new to food optimising or who don't like the idea of calorie counting. I have yet to follow the plan, though have taken its theory, hints and recipes to aid my calorie counting. It sounds as if you have it worked out for yourself, you've accomplished your weight goal, so long as you feel you have the support you need elsewhere, I'd stop SW unless I felt I was a good inspiration for image therapy x
 
I mean could just go and weigh in and go but whats the point in that. I do get sick of the same people coming out with the same excuses week in week out in image therapy and i know its hard to lose weight. I just struggle to get my head around the fact that there is people there that have been there longer than me and they have lost no weight or hardly anything and find it baffling that you would still be paying 4.95 a week when its glaringly obvious they dont even follow the plan. Is it because its just something for them to do? or a habit they have formed?

I know everyones journey is different and i respect that but the other week there was a bloke who had said he had eaten 6 packs of biscuits and half a tin of chocolates over christmas, so our C said "what are going to do with the rest of the tin throw them in the bin?" and he says angryly "no why would i do that when someone has brought them for me for christmas im going to eat them all" and i found myself having to really bite my tongue and not say anything i just wanted to say "why would someone you know that must know you go to slimming world buy you a tin of chocs for christmas? with friends like that you dont need enemies"

Obviously i didnt say that but maybe i should have.

Surely the 4.95 per week is costig more to lose the weight again than the tin of biscuits? Haha idiot!

Agree. Think we all have "those" members. I do think some, ESP the older ladies or SAHMums use the meetings as a form of socialising - we have ppl who have their own conversation throughout image therapy. I had someone telling me about the new kit kat chunky bars they've tried and all their naughty meals whilst giggling she lost a pound. Then I wonder why I'm so quiet sometimes!!

Seems in your situation, Craig, you may be best off in your own. You have your brother to work with now, too.
