Had a BBQ last night and was asked to make "my" Tzatziki. 0 Syns.
It's a little different to the one in the book, so I thought I'd share it with you. It's based on the recipe of my Greek friend's mum, totally yummy.
Ingredients:
1 tub of quark
2 cloves of garlic
oregano
dill (if you wish)
salt
pepper
a little bit of cucumber
Method:
Put the quark into a bowl, and mix in the crushed garlic.
If the consistency is to "stiff" you can add a tiny amount of milk or yogurt to soften it up a bit.
Either grate or cut the bit of cucumber (I used about a quarter of a medium-sized cucumber)
into very small pieces and add.
Add oregano (a must for fab taste) and dill (optional), as well as salt and pepper to taste.
Enjoy!
