Using Smash to thicken casseroles...

I've got a beef casserole in the slow cooker and I've just used Smash to thicken it up... and ended up pouring in FAR too much :sigh:

It has thickened up really well but also now has a very Smash-like texture LOL.

Do you think it'll be alright? Any ideas if I can add anything to improve it a bit? :confused:

 
I always put potatoes in a casserole and then they thicken it up nice as they break and they go all yummy and tender as well!
