just a walk to shops with the dog, it took 1hr total, keyed in to find exercise points and my goodness, shocked to find it over 300 calories, well pleased.
It's really good exercise to buils bone density too. I have osteoporosis in my immeadiate family and see anurse regularly for checks, and she says walking is a great way to build up those bones.
Oooh, how strange I was just reading yesterday that those vibrating plates (power plate?) are meant to be great for strengthening bones too. Apparantly they were developed as a form of exercise for astronauts and are found to encourage muscle and bone activity/strengthening.
