***Water filled Wednesday****

Thought that I'd start today's daily thread.

Well after my dissapointing WI yesterday my CDC has told me to drink drink and drink a whole lot more.

So today will be a very Wet Water Wednesday!

Hoping that all this water won't mean that I'll be taking too many loo breaks (mind you it is nice to get 2 minutes repite from the daily grind).

I know that loads of you do so well with water but some of us struggle.

So any top tips and motivation from those who've cracked it please share :)

morning :) do you use the water flavours ?? I struggle to get 2 litres of plain water but with the orange flavour I manage 4 litres easily :) every evening I fill 2 2 litre bottles with water and 1/2 teaspoon of orange flavour ( I find its perfect at this concentration ) in each and put them in the fridge , I then have a couple of 750 ml water sports bottles that I fill up throughout the day , and I always finish both bottles :)

I have just got home from work , and had my 1st 100 % day in about 10 days yesterday :) I am now going to go to bed till lunch time ( as i am not workng tonight ) then I have to take a cheque into the bank as my new job forgot to pay me on friday so I have a cheque ... grrr cconsidering I havent had any pay since 20th december... I hope it clears quickly !

I am going to have another 100 % SS+ day ( 4 packs ) and do this till the weekend then get back on 810 .... thats the plan and I am going to bloody well stick to it !!!!

I too love the orange water flavouring and couldn't drink nowhere near enough without it. I always drink mine hot though when I am at home and I find that I drink a lot more that way than when I drink it cold x

Back on ss today after days disaster! In so much pain with stomach ache from eating! My scales show 3lb gain!? How I didn't eat that much!!

Certainly going to be a water-filled wednesday for me as it is raining and am taking Master T for a swim this afternoon....I am also terrible with the water in the winter. I drink warm water with fresh ginger in.....not sure if it'd officially legal, but it has not held me back so far. Must admit after reading these posts think I should order some flavouring.

Mr T away tonight so no tempatation watching him eat, phew!

Kimmie those 3lbs will be gone by Saturday, don't worry.

I was doing really well with water. I went from drinking 2 or 3 cups of fluid a day (diet coke or coffee definitely no water!) Then I managed to drink four litres a day for a month!
Main things that helped me were:
- ensuring I had 8 500ml bottles in the fridge each day
- drinking out of small bottles helped it seem achievable to drink it all
- drinking out of small bottles helped keep it cold (couldn't drink room temp water)
- using toilet breaks and shakes as a reward for finishing my current bottle of water (ie however desperate I was for toilet would not let myself go until I had finished my current bottle of water)
- having a bottle before I ate breakfast
- finally setting reminders throughout the day on my phone to go and get a new bottle of water

Following all of this I was able to quite easily fit it all in and after the first week it felt quite normal.

Didn't manage even 1 and a half litres any day last week (sore teeth hurt more with the water) and I think my WI this week reflects it.

I'm back in the mission today.

Oddest thing.....since I've upped my water, I feel thirsty a lot. I've never really felt thirsty before.

Water is my weakness... so, good thread title, Mocha!

Like Katie and Cheryl: The flavourings help me get my water in, too. (But, I use Crystal Light -- which is a US product and tastes better to me.)

I have a one liter refillable water bottle that I use for plain water. I've tried keeping rubberbands on it (3) and moving them from top to bottom as I drink and refill, but they don't stay on. I think I'll just put ticks on the calendar every time I refill the bottle.

I drink a lot of coffee (I'm from Seattle the "home" of Starbucks). ;)

JK -- I would have to wear a TenaLady if I did not go to loo until... lol.

Morning all!

Another day of work for me, not going to be getting up to anything special really!

Lost 4lbs in 2 days on the weekend which really amazed me, I thought the days of big losses were over! :D

Got my official WI tomorrow at 4.30pm, so will be looking forward to see what the result is :)

Hi Nikkinack -- I do not know if it is "allowed" -- but it has never kicked me out of ketosis nor affected my losses. When I did LL I statted out using their drink flavourings, and then switched to Crystal Light and saw no changes.

I need to up my water too just finished 50cl bottle 4 more to go, just on the subject of water flavourings how much of it a day can you have? I thought there was a limit ?

WI today. Eek!!!!!! Scared after my Dominoes attack at the weekend but home scales show a 2lb loss so hope hers do too

There is also a veg one, but not overly sure what its like...

I just discovered that I drank 5 litres yesterday.... woops!

I'm pretty good, only because I drink so much Decaf coffee!
