week 5 - not too bad

It's been a tricky weekend - I bought mince pies for the family and ate loads! - but a good week at work. I've lost another lb, which makes it 10lb in 5 weeks. Just 1lb to go before I'm at my target for the end of December - providing I don't hit the mince pies again and put loads back on....

I've got one more week at work before I'm off work for Christmas. I know its going to be harder to keep going when I'm not at work for 2 weeks. Too much temptation at home! So I'm hoping to lose 2lb this week, so I only have to stay the same for the last 2 weeks of December to hit my mini-target.

Over the holiday I want to go through my recipes and sort out some easy quick meals I can do for the family when i get in from work - our diet is a bit limited at the moment! I don't like to cook separately for the kids, but its hard when they are a bit picky, I don't eat meat and my hubby doesn't do salad....there's not much common ground! Any helpful suggestions anyone?

Kate, hope your week went o.k for you. It's hard to stay on track over the festive season, we can only try and limit the damage and look forward to the New Year.
