Week 7 over now into Week 8!

OOH BREAD!!!!

I am always sniffing at food, before I give my h2b his supper am sniffing it, or when he has chocolate or crisps, my nose is in the bag, some people think its weird but I do feel it helps me!! Dodger that I am!!

The craving I had yesterday was fried eggy bread. I wasnt just imagining a normal sliced loaf, oh no, not me, I was thinking about cutting a massive wedge of tiger bread and making eggy bread with that, smothered in Tomatoe sauce!!! LOL!! We just torture oursels dont we!

Well Monday again, roll on Fri for weigh in number 8! I better have a big loss or there will be tears and tantrums before bed time!

Hahaha great rant pineapple!! I agree axtually its WI in 6 for me tomorrow and it better be bigger than the last 2 weeks or there will be trouble!!

Talking of bread again, ive started to buy my daughter fruit loaf...she loves it and i cant stand it so im not at all tempted! Win win xxx
 
morning everyone no smells are bothering me as much as bacon butties and im afraid ive banned my other half from cooking it in the house and we drove past kfc yesterday and i had to get a tissue out my bag to mop up the saliva it smelt soooo good Last week was really hard proberly as my 2 were off school and were eating lovely things like tuna butties(mmmm) and crisps(mmmm again)but they are back today and im feeling quite positive.We are going away for a week at easter and i know i wont be down to my target by then(ive lost 2 stone and want to lose 3 more)do you think i should refeed for a week or just keep going? im in 2 minds at the moment holiday without food and alcohol seems strange but reading posts from others who have done this it seems hard to get back into it and i can remember that first week all to clearly still x
 
Ha Tracey, thats fab your not tempted. That worked for me in the first week where I cooked only things I dinna like (believe me theres not much) Uusually I would never dream of eating a prawn, but lately I have had the craving for large juicy prawns on skewers!!

Lillie oh me, where do I start?!! Now personally for me, a holiday is all about treating myself, relaxing and enjoying eating out and drinking etc, I do not want to be thinking about dieting. A holiday is something to look forward too and we work hard all year to be able to enjoy oursels so why should you deprive yourself? I had this dilema not to long ago and I hummed and hayed over eating or not eating! I never did the refeed and thought I was strong enough to do 2 shakes and one meal - I should have known betteras, as soon as I stepped off the plane my face was tripping me with the thought of not being able to let go!! Needless to say after the bags were dumped, I decided to hell with it, I was on holiday and I was going to eat! Now I never went totally crazy with food and did try to stick to protien, salad and veg, but I did have a pudding and loads to drink (we were in Dublin for H2B'S 30th) oh and I had a cooked breakfast and plenty of bread - so actually looking bag I didna really hold back did I!!! Anyway, I had a great weekend and if I had to turn back the clock, I'd do the same again! I gained 5lbs over the weekend but I got straight back onto it on the Monday and it was fine, no probs at all - I think it had helped that I had lost a bit before going and I was determined to get right back into it. Come the weigh in on the Fri after getting home on the Sun, I had lost the 5lbs I gained plus 3, so I was down in weight!

So what am saying is, if you know you are going to eat, I would deffo do refeed (I never and think thats why I gained so much), enjoy your holiday but try ont to go wild then get straight back onto it. After all Lipotrim is helping us reach our goal and be able to live life to the full its not there to stop us living!

thanks pineapple i really dont know what to do since starting lipotrim we as a family havent done much socialising we used to go for meals with family and friends and i feel like im missing out if i didnt eat on holiday then it would be the same again and it wouldnt just be missing out it would be all of us and i dont think thats fair on the other hand i really dont feel like i could trust myself although ive lost 2 stone i cant really see that much of a difference and id proberly just put most of it back on last time we went away i put nearly a stone on(i like a pint or 2 of an evening)and food like burgers are my weakness i really dont know what to do i would ask my pharmasist his advice but he aint much good (6ft and all muscle) i think hes in it for the commission oh what to !!!
 
Couldnt you eat but be very strict and cut out on the pints - thats a killer! What about saying to yOUrself you are only allowed to eat so long as its certain foods, protien, healthy carbs and plenty salad and veg? I know what your saying about not being able to socialise as for me thats the hardest things as well, but really lillie even when we have finished our lipo journy we cant go back to how we were before or the weight will go back on. So this week away is as good a time as any to start your new healthy eating regime, I think its all too easy to fall back into old traps and we must prove to ourselfs that socialising does not mean eating fattening foods. I mean even Mcdonalds have salads now a days! Now am sure there is a difference with 2 stone off and perhaps you cant see it yourself. Have you been taking your measurmentS?

You have to be honest with yourself Lillie, if you think you can continue on your hols with the shakes then my hat comes off to you as I think people that do that are so strong willed and I truely admire them, but if you want to eat and still continue with your lipo afterwards there needs to be some give and take. By all means go ahead and guzzle down the pints and burgers but be prepared to go through your first week again on your return or eat and be wise, dont stock up on carbs and it will make your first week a bit easier.

pineapple you words of wisdom are very much appreciated i could do without the beer (think of the money i would save)and just been reading a post from mini saying alcohol is dangerous in ketosis.
do you think it would be ok to have 2 shakes and an evening meal i love salad and prawns are one of my many cravings so if i eat things like that do you think i would put a lot on?
I have taken measurements but was only brave enough to do them on week3 so im unsure of total inch loss but fromwk3 to wk4 i lost1 from waist 2 from hips1 from thigh and half an inch from calf and upperarm oh and 2 from bust(gone fromdd to c)Everyone else is commenting on my loss but i dont think you see it in yourself
 
That is very true Lillie, many people are commenting on my loss, I dont really see it myself when I LOOK in the mirror but I really see it when my clothes are too big, I think for a long time we have just been used to seeing us big and it will take time to see us for real again!

Now as for giving up the pints, I would deffo say go for that. 2 shakes and one meal that is made up of protien and salad will deffo be great and you will prob even los a little bit doing that. Also with you being on holiday you'll prob walk more etc. They say as long as you keep to protien you may even stay in ketosis so you can deffo do this. Even if you decide to have 3 meals a day, I would still lay off the pints, that would get you into a lot of trouble! Just think coming back from your holiday knowing you have not went over board and imagine having a loss as well! How proud would you be then!!

Keep measuring yourself, it really is great to keep track of it.
