went out for dinner, now what? advice needed

    ok so this is my first week back at slimming world and im going to group and iv been so good all week and writing everything down. my parents took me out for dinner last night to la tasca and we had 9 tapas dishes that we all just nibbled at however most had rich sauces or covered in oil.i had 35 syns left for the week so i was planning on using them all for that.but will that be enough??
    i really want to lose this week.i dont go back to group til monday so i have two days and i need to do something so any advice?
    not sure if im worrying over nothing but also its my star week so im just feeling very bloated and fat :(

    Awww hun, don't beat yourself up about it! Remember that this is a plan for life, and life throws the odd spanner into the works! I've been known to go out for a meal, or drink my own body weight in syns and still lose, but I'm also not disappointed if I don't. We have to enjoy ourselves sometimes, otherwise we risk turning our SW diet into a chore.

    Personally, I would count the 35 syns for your meal, and then try to stick to 5 syns a day for the next couple of days. Try to eat plenty of speed and superspeed foods, and drink plenty of water (which will help with the bloating from * week too).

    I very rarely lose when I'm on * week, so if you don't lose, or you gain, chances are it will come off next week when you lose the water weight from * week :)

    I'd allow myself 5 syns for each day til the new week starts, as you're supposed to have 5-15 syns each day. Also you'll find it easier to stick to plan and not mentally write the week off.

    Don't worry hun! Lots of water, do a bit of extra excercise (i know you dont feel like it on your * week but it will make you feel loads better) and cut down on the syns for the rest of the week. Good luck :) xxxx
