What do the meals look like? and what can you with them?

I know that I lose less now that I've stepped up to 800 calories than when I was 100% on plan
 
What do you guys mean about stepping up to 800? 4packs + protein & veg?

I had my head around exante, TS + WS, is the 800 the WS? Although WS was supposed to be 1000

BG and I are both close to goal and have both made the decision that we will allow ourselves 800 calories a day. That isn't on plan - the SnS plan is 650 calories a day. I allow myself to eat things that are off plan as long as I don't have more than 800 calories, 60g of carbs and at least 50g of protein every day. But I know that this is my decision and not the official plan. To stick to the official plan you have only what it says on the leaflet - nothing more. That doesn't include cheese or tomatoes. However, if you are happy managing everything on MFP and sticking to certain limits then that's great - I am sure it will work for you as it does for me - but it isn't on plan so best to make that clear to people when they ask whether they can have cheese or whatever.
 
It means we've increased the calories as we near goal. Weasey is following LL Lite and I'm doing something similar.
 
i havent started the plan yet, but looking at the meals they look so tiny?? i hope ill be able to stick to this! xx

I find that eating them in a small bowl helps, and I actually use a small spoon too! Once you've got thru the first few days you'll be fine :) just make sure you drink plenty of water x
 
thank you, how long have you been on the plan? how much can i expect to lose? im going on holiday in about 6 weeks and getting married next year so im trying to get myself motivated into this plan x

I've just finished day 10, and I've lost 13lbs so far

Yeah I'm really enjoying it. I jut made sure I drank loads of water, and didnt get headaches or anything! Feeling a little bit weak at times, but have got a lot of other stuff going on. Have you started a diary yet? x
 
not yet ive placed my order today so wont get them till tues so probs wont start till wed, but ill defo be making a diary i think it will help me deal with the change x

Mac cheese with prawns and wilted spinach on a bed of blanched leeks! Cut the leeks length ways to try and give them a spaghetti feel!

After removing the cauliflower from the stalk and leaves etc, you can either grater it or place it in a food processor- small pieces at a time. You then place it in the microwave and cook it for 2 mins. I then used frylight oil spray and sauted the cauliflower in a pan, so that it went a bit crunchy. I hope this is ok.

Its not rice, but it fufilled my rice need.

This thread has been great for ideas. I have completed week one and have lost 9.5lb. Quite pleased and now I have tried everything I know what I do and dont like. I have been doing 4 packs a day as I was not sure if I did the 3 packs plus the meat and veg if I would fall off the wagon so to say.

So my question is how does two different types change the weightloss do you find it is better on 4 packs or just the same on 3 plus the meal. Also I have not been having any vegis as I thought it may slow things down. I guess I am going to be here for w while as I have 7.5st to loose so thought it is worthing getting the full low down.

I also see that people add things like chilli flakes and tabaso etc to meals, is there a list anywhere about what is ok to add. Ok now my final question, I am trying to hide this diet from my mum and dad as they will nag me like hell if they knew I was back on a VLCD (i did CD years ago and fainted in the house when alone with the kids, but prop bacuase I had not had enough water, being very carefull to drink my 3L a day this time and have been fine) so which diet drink can I have when around them to put them off the scent, as they know me only too well and if they saw me drinking just water when we are out they will smell a rat!...otherwise if i drink Coke or something they will never guess I will just say its SW as I only see them once a month or so.
