SW chips! I actually make these in the microwave. (Thanks vintagepockets for the idea) and instead of finishing them off in the oven i finish them off on a hot pan with spray oil and sprinklings of smoked paprika, salt, pepper and anything else of the hot and spicy variety. So ao good! Perfect chips :)

Oo this looks nice, I've just got an actifry love it :) how did you make this please? X

Just threw in mushrooms, pepper, red and green chilli, raw king prawns, Chinese 5 spice, ginger, garlic, spring onions, peas and teaspoon of sesame oil after fry lighting the base, let it go for a couple of mins then drizzled over egg whites (I buy a carton so easier than whole eggs), light soy sauce and some cooked rice left over from last night. Took about 10 mins in total and was lovely.

Thank you :) will try this but with chicken loving my actifry used it everyday since i got it Saturday.

At Mum's tonight and she waned to use up her leftovers so we had: M Bistro Wiltshire Cured Ham & Asparagus quiche (8.5 Syns for my 75g portion- yes I weighed it!) with a lovely big salad (lettuce, toms, peppers, radishes, spring onions), new potatoes with a tbsp low fat marg (1.5 Syns), ham, turkey, gherkins, picked onions and all drizzled with vinegar! Plus a Muller Greek lemon yogurt (0.5 Syns).

Tonight I had pizza. I'm starting a 12 week countdown with 30 day shred tomorrow so thought I would have the last meal before I'm 100% on plan

Could you let me know how you do your chips please :)

Hi Tracy!

For the chips I wash potatoes (usually two average sized is perfect for one person) and with the skin on cut chip shapes out of the potato. I then lay the chips down flat on a microwaveable plate ensuring they aren't all on top of each other (some are fine, just not lots). I then microwave for about 8 mins and then take them out and give a good spray of 1kcal frylight and put them back in microwave for about 4 minutes. At this point theyre pretty much cooked.

In a frying pan I spray 1kcal frylight and sprinkle on some pepper, salt and any kind of cajoney or spicy seasoning such as Jamaican jerk, smoked paprika, anything you fancy really. I let it get hot and add the chips to the pan. I then toss the pan so all the chips are coated in the flavours. When theyve been frying for about 3 minutes i usually add more spices to the top layer and some more spray oil and toss again. I let them fry away an toss every minute or so for about 5 minutes. Then theyre done!! Takes about 15 minutes in total and it is so worth it for guilt-free chips :)

I was going to have haddock risotto but all this talk of chips has swayed me! :) mmm yum. Going to try them in the microwave as mine never come out that great in the oven x x

Going out for dinner tonight argh, still got several more dinners out to go to...my Christmas catch ups are never-ending! Hope to make some sensible choices as I need a good loss this week!

Going to try the stuffed peppers in the latest magazine and serve with some lean lamb steaks marinated in garlic and rosemary.

Chicken, bacon and leek stew with brown rice followed by raspberry jelly with lots of actual berries in!
