Chunky veg curry out of the comfort foods supplement. I used parsnips, carrots. onion, celery, courgette and butternut squash. Served with rice and a splodge of creme fraiche light.

I am having steak, SW chips, peppercorn sauce and mushrooms yummy!

Last night we had oven baked fish, SW chips and mushy peas!
Well I did, the other half decided he didnt want SW chips, couldnt be bothered making his frying chips and that it wasnt worth having just peas and fish so he had his fish in a sandwich!

Blooming expensive nice birds eye fish in a butty?! I was not impressed!

im gonna try a receipe from the asda mag.it pork loin chops topped with apple sauce and melted stilton on top.im thinking ..i hope i can use the stilton as an a choice and ive only got one small cooking apple and if i stew it down with water and a bit of sweetner ,im not going to syn it cos 1 apple aint nothing. hope it tastes ok .will have with sage roasted potatoes and loads of veg

I've got a beef caserole in the slow cooker - any ideas how many syns some cornflour would be to thicken it up pls?

i think 1 tbsp of cornflour is 3.5 syns x.i usually use smash to thicken sauces as its free and it tastes ok
