Whats for tea tonight?

Ham cooked in the slow cooker in a citrus chilli & mustard sauce, with carrots, broccoli and another veg (not sure which one yet) with roasties or wedges, or maybe bubble and squeak - not that I'm indecisive tonight!

I'm going to mix 4 tbsp extra light Helmans Mayo, 2 tbsp 0% greek yoghurt & a dash of lemon juice to loads of veg. That's 2 syns for all of it although I don't think you'd have all of it at once.

Perfect thanks for that will give it a try this week.

I am going to make a veggie curry!

Doing a slow cooker whole chicken. Scared! Never done a chicken in there before so hope it's ok. It's just because I heard the skin doesn't go gorgeous and crispy so there will be no temptation to eat it :)

It was lovely! Turned out very juicy and not dry in the slightest. Handy to do too because with all the roasting tins in a small oven it becomes a case of like batch cooking just for a roast!! Enjoy your clucker!! Xx

syn free burger and chips with a whole whack of salad :D

I've not taken anything out of the freezer for dinner tonight - so will probably be a quorn (chicken style bits or steak strips) stir fry with noodles. Unless Tesco have any amazing offers on steak - then it'll be steak, SW chips and salad instead!

Leftovers Soup - from yesterday's roast! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Just bought a new food processor so I'm going to blend up (it's very therapeutic) the leftover roasted veggies (sweet pot/parsnips/carrots/leeks & garlic) from yesterday's sunday roast...it's so simple because it's all leftovers, sometimes I add leftover chicken if theres any left. Only my second post, ive always tried to cook healthily, but exercise falls by the wayside. So new all round healthy me starts today! :)
