Thanks, I might have to try that next time (I just bought some to try the syn free gravy)- I loved the taste of the couscous crumb but it was a complete pain getting it to stick, could only have it on one side cos really it was just sat on top. Was delicious though.

Tonight I have Navarin of lamb with sweetheart cabbage and mash, a new recipe from the SW Al lin one cookbook.

It tastes great as close as you would get without going to KFC i would use all chicken breast next time as i had thigh and breast, but made plenty for tomorrow night to. I used instant mash on mine to instead of breadcrumbs and it worked ok.

i put 2 tsp mixed spice, 1/2tsp turmeric, 1 tsp hot chilli (probably use mild next time), 2 tsp black pepper and 1/2tsp salt mixed in the bovril and egg mix and i used a tsp of coriander,parsley and thyme in the instant mash.

Tried some philadelphia with pasta for the first time, garlic and herbs philly actually. Had cucumber, sweetcorn, tomatoes and peppers with it. It was good and so quick!

Yes if you use the garlic and herb, if you use the normal light it can be a he. You may want to double check but I always syn mine. It's not too high a syn value anyway.
