Whats for tea tonight?

I'm going to attempt to make beef bourguignon. Never made anything like this before so I'm hoping it's a success!

Ive got some pork chops in the fridge, I usually make just mash or roasties but want to do something a bit more exciting. So going to look online for recipes.

Having a chicken dinner with piles of kale and carrots and swede, and some mashed potato made with frame frais. I'm gonna call it my Sunday dinner this week as I was working all day Sunday and missed out! :'(

I made this a few weeks ago and though it tasted a bit bitter, maybe it was just me lol

Yeah mine was ok but I only put in 100g of fromage frais (instead of 200g). I also didn't use as much yoghurt on the marinade as I didn't need it. It's quite an acidic meal all those tomatoes, lemon juice and yoghurt when you think about it.

I found it wasn't very curry-ey so I added a tablespoon of mild curry paste which gave it the curry twang.

Hi all,

I'm really craving prawns but everytime I buy them I find them quite rubbery! Does anybody know where to get nice juicy prawns from?

Xx

Tonight's effort, Spaghetti Oceana with calamari and baby clams, very garlicky! Had with salad and parmesan shavings but didn't want to mess up the plate!

Are you buying them pink? I always find they are horrid and rubbery when already cooked. I muuuuccchh prefer to buy them raw. They literally take about 5 mins to cook and they are crunchy and gorgeous. Sainsburys do a bag of frozen taste the difference and are always on offer for £2.50. To defrost I sit them in cold water for ten!
