2 onions thinly sliced
170g mashed potato ( you can use smash or ordinary potato but make sure it is not runny)
227g chickpeas drained and blended
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
2tsp of curry powder to taste (I use madras)
1 tsp dried herbs
Salt and pepper
Fry onions in frylight until the start to go brown and leave to cool a bit. Mix the herbs, spices, baking powder and salt and pepper with the potato and mix in the onions and chickpeas adding a beaten egg to hold it together.
Cool the mixture in the fridge for at least an hour.
Spray a baking tin with frylight and put dollops of the mixture onto the tin. Spray them before baking for about 20 mins or they start to crisp.
