It was chicken curry (sw recipe) but its poison so it's in the bin, now it's emergency sw chips... On a plate .

Hi hun,

I marinate chopped chicken and peppers for 30 mins in:

6tsp rowse runny hunny (3 syns)
balsamic vinegar
soy sauce
1 garlic clove finely chopped

to be honest i don't really measure how much vinegar/soy i just judge how much probably not more than 3-4 tbsp of each.

Then fry in frylight until sauce becomes sticky and thick, 10-15 mins ish.
Loads of people have sticky chicken recipes on here so you might find slight variations but they are all pretty similar

Having a BBQ at friends tonight, won't be that SW friendly so sticking to chicken and salad and new potatoes and maybe just one burger- anyone have any idea how I'd Syn a burger from a local butcher??

i'm not too sure but is it their standard burger or a steak mince one?
the standard one probably has more fillers etc in it, the steak one will have most of the fat off but you could maybe syn it as lean meat rather than extra lean?

my local butchers doesn't do sw sausages like some places and when i 1st started, i explained that i was only allowed extra lean meat without having to syn it, i was going for sausages and he said not to go for their pork ones cos of what they put in them and sold me the steak links (which i counted a wee drop for just in case) but he said another woman does sw and gets those ones all the time too.

obviously it's hard to tell what goes in but i reckon if you counted a few syns (depending on the weight) you should be ok...especially if it's their "good ones"?x

According to book a standard burger is 3.5 a luxury 6 a standard quarter pounder 7.5 don't know if that helps x

Had the bacon & mushroom pasta from the mag with chorizo. Nvr had tinned tomatoes tho which is a staple in this house, have no idea whe used them all up!! Did have passata tho & it tasted jst as good. Followed by ski mousse coconut with chocolate swirls - this is amazing like eating a bounty!!!
