Over here the Food network and cooking channel are very different from the UK...
Fav UK chefs have to be Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver and Nigella but from the USA I would have to go for:
Paula Deen - real good home cooked southern food - good home cooking but loads of butter and cream...
Bobby Flay - the master of the grill
Sandra Lee for her semi home made foods - taking stuff from the supermarket and adding those little extra's to make it special....then gives you a breakdown of cost...
Giada DeLaurentis - for simple easy Italian - she even better than Ina - even if she does have a cheesy smile on her face all the time ( how anyone can smile that much is beyond me)
The one I cant stand is Rachel Ray..... she must have done so many presentation course and must use every abbreviation in the book.....isn't it easier to say extra virgin olive oil instead of EVOO....and know that everyone understands you ( took me 3 months to realise thats what EVOO was....dumb blonde here)
