omg........i just got really giddy about xmas then lol woohoo! my decs going up and the 1st Dec! I have no kids(yet) but can still get giddy!:109:

AS for sticking to plan, most of the time absolutely! Got 1 big xmas do coming up on the 4th Dec 5 course meal n wine so will enjoy myself and will enjoy breakfast the next day(in hotel)its costing me enough!!!! Then nothing going on until the big day so will be 100 %
Will be having a drink xmas eve and will probably keep syns back for then and i've challenged myself to do SW xmas dinner for me and my OH, not drinking cos in work at 6am boxing day. The only day after that is NYE and at my sisters and she doing SW too. Last yr i put 1/2 stone on and it took me 2 months to get it off i'm not going down that road again!!!!!!!!

i am going to try and stick to plan as i know i could easily put on 7lb over xmas now i,m older i am finding it hard to get off, my consultant said she was going to do a class on the monday straight after so want to go to that it will make me think b4 i eat (hopefully lol) i usually end up eating a tin of sweets myself

I'm sooooo excited for Christmas, I just love it! I'll be on plan most of the time. Got works do on afternoon of 23rd so will have some buffet and a couple of drinks. Will (hopefully) be back on plan on xmas eve until evening when we go out for a few drinks. I'm not even gonna think about what I have on xmas day, although it'll be a fruit salad starter and xmas dinner isn't too bad so just pud, drinks and nibbles! I'll probably have boxing day half on-half off plan and then that'll be it, back on plan until new year's eve night. Eeeeek can't wait :)

tis not just me who gets all excited about christmas then ;) somtimes i think i need to calm myself down abit but no me and my sisters are big kids honestly.im 34 and my mum and dad still give me a sack full of goodies.spoilt i know but its only once a yaer isint it and all my family love it ..... feel all tingly now just thinking of it..in fact nearly wet myself the other week when the coco cola advert came on.....holidays are coming, holidays are coming, lol

haha, me too! I got so excited when I saw it, I LOVE that advert. You know it's nearly here when you hear that 'holiday's are coming' :) Love it, makes me all giddy every time I see it

I'm planning to have a flexi syn day for christmas. OH is doing SW too so we can make christmas dinner fairly low syn, but I want to have some cheesecake and wine!! Will probably be working next christmas so want to make the most of this one :)

I'm going to do my best to follow plan as close as possible. I'll relax a bit Xmas day and have full Xmas dinner with wine, but won't be gorging on choccies after dinner. The following 2 days we're at my OH's uncles then nans - hoping his uncle does a buffet so I can choose SW friendly food. His nans I'll eat what she provides as she's French and I learnt from OH that you don't refuse her food lol.

The weds and thurs after Xmas OH is working so I'll go to the gym and we've nothing planned for new year either so even if we just get Chinese I'll have boiled rice and beef with mushrooms to stay on plan.

dont mean to sound silly but what are flexi syns ?

I'm still fairly new but as I understand it you can tell your consultant if you have a special occasion/outing/whatever coming up and set a realistic amount of syns that you can stick to... eg 60 syns for the day instead of 15. That way you don't have to miss out, but you also won't feel guilty as you have "permission" :)

Also I'm a bit rubbish... if I cheat I tend to think "bugger it" and then have a complete binge so this seems like quite a good idea to me

Apart from christmas day where I will have a few naughty choccies after lunch im going to stick with the plan. Im working christmas eve until 630pm so will take healthy snacks and boxing day we are going up to my cousins who is also on SW so she will make a SW friendly buffet - lots of salads, veggies, SW chilii and curry etc etc.

Got no major plans for new year (I have 2 children) so I may just cook a nice meal x

Were going to enjoy ourselves, have the stuff weve been craving (like maccy d's!) but stick to plan where we can. Get christmas out of the way then, hopefully, well be glad to get back on plan!!!!!!

I always meet up with the girls on christmas eve and we get a takeaway - but I'm going to save syns for that and not go too crazy. Then I'm going to use flexi syns christmas day and boxing day to have some chocs and a few glasses of wine. I have also already planned to have two slices of Warburtons toastie bread with proper butter on for my breakfast on christmas day haha. Planning to make christmas dinner quite SW-friendly and will only have to syn the gravy. Then we're having steak and SW chips on boxing day. So my main meals won't be too bad... but I need to have some treats over christmas so I'll be making the most of flexi syns on those two days! Getting straight back on plan after that though. I don't mind having a gain but I don't want to put lots of weight back on and have to spend ages getting rid of it again.

I plan to be thoroughly miserable over x-mas..
mom and dad joined the same time as me so it's safe to go round there for x-mas dinner ( and breakfast ), but for the rest of the holiday I will be sat at home alone with only my regular "diet" stuff in the fridge and cupboards..
I don't drink and don't go to the pub to socialise, and don't really like crowds, so blissfully home alone except for the obigatory family get together on the day itself..
Providing that I don't get any alcohol or chocolates as presies I'm good... ( and since nearly all my relatives are now SW members thanks to the free vouchers, they shouldn't get me any.. )

like the bit about the toast.ever since i can remember it was a special treat christmas morning to have a slice of saffron cake with butter.strange but i still do it for my children ,and me lol

I have every good intention of sticking to plan....im loosing quite slowly and id hate to put on all ive lost only to have to start again in the new year, id be gutted!

I dont see it been too hard tho to be honest, i dont have any xmas parties planned....im not going out....and there is only me n the kids for xmas dinner, and we dont like mince pies xmas pud etc. In fact my kids fave pudding is a fresh fruit salad...so we will be having that after dinner. They also love their veg so most of the dinner will be veg altho i will be having pigs in blankets and stuffin lol. Im also refusing to buy tubs of sweets....the kids will have their selection boxes but thats it...ive not even put chocs on the tree this year

I am going to allow 10 syns each day over xmas for vodka/diet coke and the odd mince pie but im 100% going flexi on xmas day!! Im not spending all xmas day in the kitchen just to feed everyone else! :p
