Whos sticking to plan over christmas

Then I saw all the people with over flowing trolleys of this rubbish and realised what a nonsence this all was for 1 day!!

How very very true! I used to buy so much, 10 different cheeses, 4 or 5 pates, crackers by the bucketload, mints, truffles, tins of chocs and lot of finest "party food" but not this year. There will be 3 gorgeous local cheeses and I'll make some chicken liver pate (SW) and I intend to make some nice nibbles from the SW cookbook for Christmas Eve.
Christmas day will be off plan in that I wil have a bagel or croissant for breakfast with fresh orange juice, lunch will be a 3 course splendour and there'll be Christmas pud with cream.
Other than that I do want to try and be good - all my meals out have been chosen to be the best possible, although I will have a dessert.

I really don't want to gorge this Christmas, it's just too hard to lose it all afterwards and it doesn't really make me feel good.

I plan to just not worry about my Xmas dinner as won't have any control over how it's cooked etc as were up at the in laws and I can't resist her roasts of any form lol x but don't plan on going silly on rubbish like chocolates etc x I'd rather be my old self than over indulge for the sake of it if that makes sense x
