why why why do i do it??

    Doing great on the cambridge diet then all of a sudden I ate a Sunday meal no treats just meatloaf, mash and sweetcorn then had every intension to start CD again on the monday but no I then had some bread and a cake bar. I am back on CD no problems today but why would i risk everything I have worked so hard for. What is the matter with my head ???? I love being slimmer and wearing size 14 clothes so why didn't I get straight back on the diet ??????? AAAAAHHHHHHHHH i am so angry with myself :cry:

    Kerryb I did a similar thing on Monday night! Like you I was doing really well at sticking religiously to CD since 2 Sep, moved to 810 plan which I also stuck to. But Monday night I just saw a jar of peanuts on the kitchen counter and took one handful, then another and then another. Had 4-5 handfuls.Why?! I asked myself. I tried to intially blame it on TOTM hormones but it was simply the fact I still have to work at controlling the food and not letting it control me. Feel much better today even though I gained 1lb at this morning weigh in.

    The important thing is, you are now back on track. You went off plan, it's done, you can't undo it but you can gain control back - which you have. For me lesson learnt (thanks to KD and Katycakes) is that I will have to deal with food, food decisions even once I am finished with CD and I may as well learn how to deal with the odd blip now because there will be times even when I reach goal there will be situations when I will regret eating something I feel i should have refrained from. Hope I am making sense?
