Wii scales

Hello

Was just wondering if anyone uses the wii fit board to weigh themselves?
And how accurate it is if so?
I ask because I don't own any scales at home, I only started my diet last week but weighed myself In the gym for my start weight. The machine costs £1 a time which seems a lot to keep paying!
I do have a wii with wii fit so was wanting opinions on whether this is a viable option (on carpet)?

I have wii fit and use it for yoga. I can confirm that it's 99% accurate. I would prefer if you do in on a solid flooring but carpet will be fine.

I use them with the biggest loser program (only thing I use it for) on a wooden floor and they seem to be very consistant - did use to have scales and they always came out the same.

My wii is about the same as my scales. I prefer to use scales tho because you can see the exact weight. They were only £6 in b&m for digital ones! X

I don't use them for weighing but they are accurate...my Wii Fit announced my pregnancy...I jumped on the wii fit board to be weighed (2nd week of diet in 2008) and it came up "you are pregnant or holding a cat" I was about 7 weeks at the time - shocker!!

Well they do seem to be accurate and using them will save me £1 at the gym every time so I shall stick with them for now. I am reluctant to buy scales as I think I'll be constantly hopping on and off them!

My Wii Fit is consistently 2lbs less than the scales at my SW weigh in.
