Hi. I've lost just over 2st and feel that's great, however, I feel really bloated and full of wind! My stomach feels full and bloated and can be painful. Most afternoons I feel terrible due to this. So far I've just put up with it but I'm now thinking maybe I should find out what is the cause.

I don't have anything first thing for breakfast as I like to take my packs later in the day. I usually start the day with a pint of water and then a peppermint tea.

For lunch I have a bar as it is easy for work.

My tea is usually a soup (sometimes made into crisps)

I also have a shake in the evening either split into two hot drinks or just as a regular cold shake.

I drink plenty of water I think - a pint to start the day, about 2ltrs during my working day and then lots of glasses during the evening (maybe 4 large glasses).

What could be making me feel so gassy? Is it generally the diet or would it be one thing in particular? My other half said he had read that the bars can do this. What have others found?

I'm thinking of cutting out the bars and maybe having a tetra at work instead. Or maybe a soup but it is a bit of a faff!

Oh, I also take p husk every day.

    Cheers

I only get windy when I have the bars, if I stick to the shakes I'm ok.

I hope you find an answer as it sounds very uncomfortable.

Both bars and husks can make you bloated and windy!

Try cutting out the bars for 2 days and see if that helps, how much husks do you take?/

It has to be the bar! I can't tolerate them at all. Why not take a tetrapak at lunchtime - that would be easy?

I will cut out the bars for a few days.

I take the p husk capsuals - 6 a day as recommended on the tub (2 capsuals, 3 times a day).

    Thanks

If you make the soup into crisps and put in an airtight container when cool they would be really easy to take into work.

LOL!! Really made me laugh that! Well, I had a soup for my lunch today - which I was a bit worried about because it meant having to take the blender into work and people wondering what the heck I was doing!! (Cant do lumps!)

Had the Thai Chilli one - have to say, not really my fave but never mind. I felt really full after having it - I'm not used to soup in the afternoon (well, not these days anyway!) and felt it took a long time to eat it as I was feeling quite full. I would have thought the bars would have been more filling.

Def not as windy as I usually am! No bloated stomach so I think i can safely say that it IS the bars (as some of you said). I'm going to give them a miss for the rest of this week (until Sunday) and maybe have one every other day. OH suggested maybe splitting the bar so I dont have it all in one go - think this might be an idea.

Not really wanting soups again so will prob make some lovely crisps.

Just had a nice vanilla coffee made with 1/3 of a vanilla pack. Yummy!
