Zumba is a lot of fun. I go to a class with a fantastic instructor who uses a mix of Latin music and current pop songs (Little Mix, Chris Brown, Rhianna - that type of thing). There is a real mix of ages and abilities and people of all shapes and sizes. You should definitely go along and give it a go.
The only thing I would say is, when I was heavier (i've lost 4.5 stone) I found it more of a workout than I do now. I now exercise 6 - 7 times a week, and do zumba as one of my 'rest' days. So, i think you will feel the benefit more if you don't do that much now. It's worth it just for the fun though!
