    any bikers here?

Been away for a while, now back to try and lose some more weight. Since I last posted I have now bought a Bandit 600 but still have my Virago 750. I find the Bandit to be more suitable to camping trips and the luggage carrying that goes with it.

Overweight? Try living in the mountains if you want to slim down

Well, I went to the Indian side of the Himalayas last summer and I can honestly say, I don't recall seeing a single overweight person. Not only that, but I saw a lot of elderly people carrying huge bundles up very steep inclines without breaking a sweat, whereas I would be struggling after a...

    Chrismas offer from Exante

Actually, I just realised that I am also saving three weeks postage as well, so in real terms (if you usually order weekly as I do) the cost of 4 weeks of indivdual orders is £162.80 compared to £84.87, which is closer to a 50% saving! -Pete.

    Chrismas offer from Exante

Hi all, I had a message left on my 'phone from Exante regarding their special offer for the run-up to Christmas. If you order their Pre Christmas Bumper Variety Pack you will get it for a discount of 45% compared to the normal weekly price of their variety pack, which I think is exceptional...

    any bikers here?

Lifelong biker here too. I used to have a Bandit 1200 which I loved, unfortunately it got stolen  so I went without a bike for a few years until last year when I bought a Yamaha Virago 750. I really like customs/cruiser (like Harleys etc) but this is the first time I've had one strangely...

    Sims 2 & 3, WoW..Dash games...Any Game fans?

Yep, long time gamer here too. I have quite a varied taste in games but if a game is good I'll probably try anything. I loved the Tomb Raider series and play Anniversary and Underworld still. I spent many hours playing GT3 (which was the reason I bought my PS2!) and will probably get the new...

    World Of Warcarft

Hi all, I tried WoW for 3-4 months and liked it a lot, the huge world and great gameplay but, like Cobweb, didn't much care for the cartoony look of it. I also played a lot of Guildwars which I really liked (and free to play is always nice!) - great gameplay and a fantastic look to it...

Hi Yasmine, I am fairly certain that Lipotrim is gluten free, however after searching for info about it on their site, I couldn't see any mention of it. I will have a look at documents I have when I got my supplies as I am sure I did read it somewhere. Perhaps someone can confirm in the...

    Feel like crying

It's all a matter of perspective. Because you had such a massive initial loss (well done on that by the way!) everything after that is going to be a hard act to follow. I have set myself a target of between 3 and 6lbs a week to lose (which seems realistic when looking at others losses), and...

Every week I order on a Monday and get it around 3pm on Thursday. It's very consistant so I don't mind it taking a few days, at least I know in advance how long it will take. I also have them delivered to work so that there is always someone there to sign for it. Which reminds me, I need to...

Yep, pretty much what everyone else has said - they don't taste too nice to start with but become more palatable with each drink. Well it's still heading in the right direction, and even 2.5 lbs a week is over 2/3 a stone a month. That sounds like a good tactic though, adding a meal week occasionally. I weighed myself today and I am very happy to see another 4lbs gone, I really felt it would be less, so maybe wait and...

I don't know if it's because I am in Northern Ireland but my deliveries seem to take a little longer - I usually order on a Monday (after 1pm) and they arrive on the Thursday, consistently around 3pm. It just means after the first week, I had to think ahead and order early so that there is a...

Hi Caren, I'm fairly new to Exante (end of third week today) as well and I'm enjoying the bigger range of flavours and really like the soups - you get a choice of Thai chicken, vegetable, tomato with basil, and mushroom, and I can't really say I dislike any of them. I love the bars too and...

    Advise anyone!!

Nope they won't know. In my case I answered the medical and ordered the variety pack and that was it. The diet you do depends on how many meals you replace with the packs, in the Total Solution it's just the packs and no meals like LT.
  27. DiscPete

    Exante?

£40.70 delivered, which is the variety pack (enough for a week) - I can only justify that because the male Lipotrim diet costs £58 a week in Belfast. Lipotrim is probably cheaper for you in Manchester. -Pete.

Haha, I hope that will work for me when I get to that stage! Well, good luck with whatever solution you use (and you WILL find one!). Also, it may not be the exercise thing, that's just one suggestion, explore all avenues. :)

I think I'll need a miracle to keep me going another week...

That right there is the important thing to remember and should give you motivation to carry on, plus the support from the great people here (that includes you as I've read some of the advice you have also given). I'm sure you will carry on as you've come so far already - besides, you are an...

I think I'll need a miracle to keep me going another week...

Hi IrishMum, I really feel for you, as does everyone else - I would hate to be working that hard and not lose any weight. I do however have to disagree about the 'muscle v fat' misconception - of course a pound of one item will weigh the same as a pound of any other item, but when you...

    My 1st weigh-in

Indeed I am. One of the things they keep drilling into us for this trip is to...drink lots of water!!! I don't think I'll have a problem on that side of things!:7834: And yazzy, thank you very much!

    week 3 weigh in

Adam, that is just amazing, well done. Hope I can follow suit! :)

    My 1st weigh-in

I love swimming! But that's probably the last thing I will do because that's where I feel most self-conscious, but then that will be one of the goals of this diet. :) I wear a really baggy polo-type shirt in the gym which helps, and fortunately I am able to go in the afternoon when it is...

    My 1st weigh-in

Hi ChellyWellyBoot, Nope I haven't been near anywhere that sells teas as of yet (which is a good thing - not being near shops that is). It's not an issue as I like the shakes anyway, but was just thinking of alternatives for a change when I get bored of the same flavours everyday. I did...

Hi cuddlyfairy, and thank you very much! :)

2nd weigh in - so happy - thanks everyone!

Over 19lbs in 2 weeks, that's amazing. As a new starter myself I would love to emulate that. Congratulations.

    My 1st weigh-in

Hi Candelwix, and thank you too. I may also look out for redbush, but I defintely agree with the 'keep it simple' idea - I think that's probably one of the main plus-points of Lipotrim - it is really easy to folllow, no special meals to cook, not certain foods to buy and no calorie counting...

    My 1st weigh-in

Yeah that's as good as it gets I'm afriad :o Most people seem to recommend peppermint, and as I like that flavour that's what I'll try first. Thanks too, loulougirl.

    My 1st weigh-in

Wow so many teas! Yes, this does help, I now have a list I can choose from - some I've never heard of. I'm not worried about camomile, it was just an example whose name stuck in my head. I look forward to experimenting - or should I say experiminting? lol sorry.

    My 1st weigh-in

I could say this in all my posts, but all your weight loss stats in your signatures are more and more inspiring, especially with each new person I read about. Thank you for congratulating me on my first week, though I have a long way to go to match all your efforts. It's good to have goals...

    My 1st weigh-in

Pepermint tea - that sounds delicious, do you mean at the same time as the shake or mixed with it? Thanks for the idea, I will look into this as well. Oh, one more question if I may (to anyone really) - I understand if I drink tea it must be of the leaf variety (I thought they all were lol)...

    My 1st weigh-in

Ha you posted while I was writing my last response, but thanks Adam. Maybe it's a guy thing? I have read that men lose weight faster than women as well, at least initially? That's not necessarily my case though, but I'm happy enough so far.

    My 1st weigh-in

Thanks for the tips Mini. I have noticed that fluctuation, but as long as overall day-by-day it's going in the right direction it won't bother me.

    Did something different

Nice one Adam, I personally don't have a head for heights but even the hill walking would be awesome, as well as the castle. This is why I am so excited to be doing this diet - to see things people probably wouldn't do, but have always wanted to, and I'm no exception. There are so many...

    My 1st weigh-in

Thanks again all. Yes! It is a great feeling seeing the weight go down. I must admit, I tend to weigh every day at home, even every few hours sometimes. A little obsessive perhaps, but at least it's going the right way. I have to say, my fave shake is turning out to be vanilla after the...

    My 1st weigh-in

Thanks both, I may still try the soup yet then, if it's not so bad. I do have a pretty tolerant palate. The reason I didn't like the flapjack was because I now know that it was gone off or something - it had the worst taste I have ever tried. I ate my second flapjack today and it was...

    My 1st weigh-in

Hi all, Had my first weigh-in today and I've managed to lose 8 lbs, which I am more than pleased with. The best thing for me so far is that I am finding this diet very easy. I like the shakes but not the flapjacks and I haven't tried the soup yet - I have a feeling I am not missing out on...

    First week on Lipotrim.

Day two ok so far... Thanks Mini, I've updated the thread title now, appreciate the help. Day 2 is going well, getting a few hunger pangs but they lasy only moments if I drink straight away. Just had my first coffee, I have a feeling that may be my lifesaver, although I had been trying to...

    First week on Lipotrim.

Hi laura.1810 and Aoife, thank for the good lucks and welcomes! That's a good tip about coffee in the vanilla shake, I will try that for sure. I just realised that calling this thread 'Starting Lipotrim today' was not the best idea I've ever had, as it's out of date after 1 day, lol. That's...

    First week on Lipotrim.

Good morning all... ...and thank you Scotsmist, nicolas and MiniB for the new "Welcomes". :) Yesterday has given my plenty of confidence as it went so well. I did learn a couple of things though: Don't smell the shakes before drinking them. After just drinking the strawberry one, I made the...

Thank you all! Wow, what a great welcome, I wasn't expecting all those so soon! Thanks everyone. @harriet2 - Thanks for the welcome. I understand that it will be difficult, but if I expect the worst then evertime is isn't so bad will be a bonus. Today for insatnce, I tried the strawberry...

    First week on Lipotrim.

Hi All, I am just starting on Lipotrim today and it's not with trepidation, but with excitement. I've been to my local pharmacy for my pre-diet weigh-in, and picked up my weekly supply and now I am raring to go. It's purely by chance that I found this product last week, after going to my GP...

New starter on the Lipotrim diet

Hi Mini, Thank you for the kind (and fast!) welcome. I'm sure I will settle in ok as I use a lot of forums (sad but true) so should be comfortable navigating my way around. I will spend some time reading through your site-specific rules 'n' regs so not to ruffle any feathers. Thanks for the...

New starter on the Lipotrim diet

Hi all, I have been reading these forums for a week or so and today I have had my pre-diet weigh in and will be starting on the Lipotrim regime today. I've never tried anything like this before but the support and success stories here are truly inspirational. I thought I'd say hello in...
