    I agree, my consultant always says eat until your full so if fruit and yougurt are filling you up then thats enough. You shouldn't eat for the sake of it if your not hungry but if you are, just top up with more free foods!

    I love peppermint tea and recently discovered 'teapigs' - they are a bit pricey but well worth it I think. I found their peppermint tea is fresher, stronger and has a much nicer taste than any other I've had. You can get trial packets on their website, but would still have to pay P&P. Not tried...

    There is no difference in terms of the SW plans - you can have either white or brown but brown/wholemeal pasta is healthier and has more goodness in it so would try to go for that first.

    I really think the directory needs to be updated to indicate the foods in there that can be used as healthy extra's. I sometimes end up using syns only to find out I could have used healthy extra's instead. Or mayabe if they did a book just for Healthy Extras.

    There is a good flapjack reciepe on this forum that counts as a HEX B + 1/2 a syn - made them the other day, they are lovely and make a decent size flapjack. I prefer these as they taste like 'real' baking and are a real treat! If you do a search you should find it.

    i make a big load of pasta bake and freeze it in individual portions. lots of rotated veg with garlic & herbs, stirred into pasta with tinned tomatoes & passata (i add a bit of chilli powder to give it a kick) then a sprinkling of cheese on top. all free or a healthy extra if you add the cheese.
