June losers - getting set for Summer

Lost 2lbs which brings me back to the weight I was at the beginning of June. It's been a crap month after a great start. Apathy has set in, which in some respects isn't a bad thing as I eat less when I'm feeling apathetic (hence the loss this week). I've started my own personal KISS menu...

Aw, thanks Baby-belle :) I'm a bit like that with my wardrobe at the moment. I have clothes that are baggy and the clothes that are waiting to fit. I can get in them... with a crowbar ;) 10lb off and they should fit nicely but these past 3 weeks have been a real struggle. I've decided...

I'd rather dig up an old one than start a new one :) We're off to the pics later today and it seems to be compulsory to eat/drink something when there. We always share a sugarfree drink anyway but food can be a nightmare for us. If the eldest daughter comes with us we have to avoid dairy...

Ideas for free lunches??? sick of soup!!!!!

Which is what a person would react to (the thought). It's not the fact that it's raw, if it's fresh it's fine, but our minds tell our stomachs that it's not nice and we urge. I eat reheated rice that's been in the fridge for 2-3 days and I have no qualms in giving my children re-heated rice...

    NSVs - Non Scale Victories

Just read Capricorns post and now feel soooo inadequate :jelous: Well done by the way :) My NSV is having to go out and buy new clothes in a smaller size. Belts are all well and good to keep up my jeans, but looking like I'm wearing a sack tied around the middle in a suit is NOT a good look :D

    Rooster Potatoes

I don't eat mash very often so haven't got round to trying any light versions yet. I like the idea of mayo, and fromage frais isn't too bad but needs a bit of black pepper to give a bit of lift. Before SW I would use mostly milk and a little bit of marge... ok, a not so little bit of marge :)...

    Fitting superfree into breakfast

I've found if I have the 'quick' brekkie of 2 Alpen lights and some fruit that I'm ravenous by 11. My fave brekkie at the moment is 2 eggs scrambled, a serving of baked bins, tinned tomatoes and mushrooms cooked with a little fry-lite. Keeps me going for hours. Or, as has already been...

    Harvestor

The bf and I have been on SW for nigh on 4 weeks now. We used to eat out 2 or 3 times a week out of sheer laziness. Since starting the eating plan we have eaten out twice and both times it's been to Harvester. Although I'm unsure of how to syn it, I follow a basic calorie guide of no more...

    Mmmm Yummy syn free pancakes

My daughters are half Italian and the eldest has requested 'Timballo' for her 22nd birthday (it's a bit like lasagne but uses pancakes instead of pasta sheets [it's traditionally made at Easter]) and was concerned by the syns in the pancakes. I shall try these instead and will report back on...

I'll join you Nettie :) The recent increase in migraines is a sure sign I've not been drinking enough so doing this might make me think more about it. It's so easy to get through a busy a day and realise I've only had 2 or 3 drinks (coffee usually) all day. Good luck :)
