15 stone to 14 stone support

Hello, I thought start posting on this forum again to keep my motivation going to lose more weight. From Jan 2014 I joined a gym and got myself from 16st 10lb to 14st 11lb but hit a snag toward the end of the year and by xmas was 16st 0lb. I'm now back at the gym and down to 15st 7lb so need...

    From 16's to 15's

Just started the rowing machine tonight, managed only 20 minutes but feel positive I can do more tomorrow. As for food, I'm going to try and have low carb meals for breakfast and lunch, hopefully I can overcome my temptation for naughty food.

Which one is your favorite TV show…?

Same here, which is bad considering I don't like Geordies and come from the same town as Charlotte.

Which one is your favorite TV show…?

I'm once again hooked on American Horror Story, which is into its 3rd season. What makes it so good is that they use the same actors in each season yet the storyline is completely different and they play different roles.

Anyone got a lot to loose and worried about loose skin?

I have 3 stone to lose so only sure if you can consider it a lot, I've had this extra weight for a few years though so worried that the skin might have been stretched for too long.

Has anyone else lost 14lbs in 14 days? Lot of weight to lose, please help!

If your eating is centred around being at home then why not use your remaining weeks at a gym or swimming baths. Out of sight, out of mind ( I mean food).

    16's to 15's anyone??

Hello, I'm back on here after a while of being in limbo. A few months back I got to my lowest weight for years at 16st 2lb but now the weight has crept back up to 16st 9lb, which seems to be where I've been stuck for a while. Controlling what I eat isn't an issue, it's the exercise I'm...

I'm starting this thread at 16st 5lb. I'm at a point now where I've cut out chocolate and no longer crave it, I'm using MyFitnessPal to control my calorie intake and have started exercising and strength training this week so hopefully it won't be long till I'm in the 15's.

    My cry for help

Hi, after having my gall bladder removed in February I've gone from weighing 17st 10lb to 16st 6lb, this is down to a mix of things including exercise and dieting (exante). My problem is trying to get the soup right, it's either lumpy or frothy. At lunch today I had my first successful soup by pouring cold water into a cup of the soup and making it into a paste, then topping up with hot water. Hopefully I'll see a difference in the next few days :)

After reading these posts I think Exante is the best thing for me. Right now I have little structure to my food intake, I am down to 1600 calories a day but that doesn't stop me from eating like a pig (like yesterday for example). 3 set meals a day sounds tough but I feel like I'd have more...

I love my trash rock and metal, I rarely listen to the new stuff and tend to stick with the music from my teens (late 90's) so: Deftones Slipknot Pantera At the Drive In Papa Roach I have been listening to My Chemical Romance lately (Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge).

How often do you weigh yourself?

I would always weigh myself weekly (usually Monday) but the last month I've been weighing myself daily as I read somewhere this way you can see daily how much you're losing (assuming you are losing weight).

    Cross Trainer, tracking the burn

I've pushed myself to go on this morning, which I haven't done in a very long time (usually because my kids always want attention) and managed 15 minutes / 165 calories, which IMO is good considering how little I've been on.
  69. G-man02

    Cross Trainer, tracking the burn

It's been about 50 days since I last went on and managed 211 calories / 20 mins, along with the 181 calories I burned at lunch time too so I'm really happy with myself :)

    jogging vs crosstrainer

I just never seem comfortable jogging. Jogging on a treadmill gets boring and jogging at a fixed speed gets me tired quickly. I can jog for longer on a path as I can change pace when needed but feel the pain much more.

    jogging vs crosstrainer

The cross trainer doesn't put as much strain on your body as it's controlling your body movement, the cross trainer also works on your arms unlike jogging.
  77. G-man02

To take your mind off the hunger pangs...

I've got hunger pains right now, not off forcing myself not to eat but forgetting to bring a bigger lunch to work, I'm stuck here till 18:00 and won't get to eat till the kids are in bed at 20:00, which by then my stomach will have probably ate itself :)

    Just can't get motivated :(

I stick headphones on and blast out some fast-paced music, I struggle to exercise without music.

Went to go on the cross trainer and it's squeaking like mad, the LCD is also very faded even though I've put new batteries in. Absolutely gutted considering I just paid £180 in Jan for it. Does anyone else have these problems with cross trainers? It's a Dynamix.
