Extra Easy SP Extra Easy SP Plan

I really loved doing EESP and I did it the first week of January, I lost 5.5lbs even with a meal out. I did have 2 days where I had a fat free yogurt so class them as 95% days. I would recommend anyone doing it that you read, read and read what you can have, plan, make sure you have your plate...

Anyone else have weigh in day blowouts?

i am one of those who eat what I want after WI and still lose, but then I do have lots to go! I then have the next 6 days on plan and use my syns like normal. If I was going out for a meal in the week then I wouldn't go mad after WI. Each to their own at the end of the day and as long as you...

    Why do I keep failing?

Hey Hun,sorry to hear you're struggling. I don't have children so I can't relate in that sense but I have found that you do need to give SW 100%. It does take time to a) settle in and b) to plan. If I don't plan my food then I set myself up for a fail. i have done WW (didn't like the meeting...

    10 Stone+

Took myself to a new meeting today, having a new start and no excuses this time. i always remember hearing "if you give it 100% you'll get the results". also put down an interim target of 3 stones too. Gonna break it down and not over burden myself either.

    June Money Challenge

My tips; 1) plan all your food, use what's in your freezer and buy frozen bits where you can as they tend to work out cheaper. 2) consider using Aldi/Lidl to get some shopping (I can't get all my SW bits there tho, but what you can get does help with food costs) 3) do a boot sale if you have...

    What was your turning point?

Mine was building our first triple wardrobe in our house, there was a lot of standing whilst hubby did the manly bits of screws, hammering etc and as I carry most my weight round my middle, the weight was actually hurting and pulling at me. Syn free days

    New HiFi flavour

I thought they tasted more like fudge instead of salted caramel or the taste of Butterkist. i would get them again but only occasionally, I think they aren't quite worth 6 syns and I prefer having two of the hifi lights personally.
  54. MrsTinaV

Fabulous first week - now to keep the motivation going!

New Muller Light flavour: skinny cappucino

On Friday and Saturday just gone, Asda had the 6 pack of Mullerlights for £2 including the dessert packs. I don't like the cake bits but I do love the flavourings of the Banoffee and Apple Pie. They did have the cappuccino on its own but I'm not a coffee fan so didn't get any of them.
  56. MrsTinaV

    Anyone else have this problem?

Yes me too, I was just having a Batchelors Cup A pasta but I was getting hungry, so I now have a warburtons brown sandwich thin for 5 syns with ham in it. It definitely helps.

    Extra Easy GREEN TEA

Self Sabotage - Why Oh Why?

Maybe going back to group and getting the Image Therapy might help? I know when I have bad weeks I always go and stay, that way if I gain I face it and get ideas from others too. I think of the ££s as spent wisely on getting me healthy.
  59. MrsTinaV

Guess what I was told last week?

    Extra Easy GREEN TEA

I love green tea, especially the gingerbread one by Twinings. My Mum had the Twinings green tea and mint one which is good too. I need to lose 10stone!

Hello, I'm heavier than you at the mo and to be honest knowing I have such a massive amount of weight to lose scares me but I need to do it. Apart from PCOS I have no health problems either. I did SW and didn't really get EE days, I liked red or green the most. Saying that WW is my fave out of...

    Swapping from vlcd to ww

I haven't done a direct swap but I have done Cambridge before and now do WW. You have chosen a good plan as WW teaches portion control and good low and zero point options to keep you going. You'll have you daily points allowance to use as you like and 49 weekly points to either split over the 7...

    Ruined it!!!!

Start cutting back a bit and have water in between? You can still go out and have a good time but just balance alcohol and soft drinks? You won't deprive yourself and totally ruin your good work either x
  112. MrsTinaV

Eeeek not sure i dare ask this question!!!

Yeah stay as you are, it's your journey and a lifestyle change, not a race :)
  113. MrsTinaV

Can I join you lovely lot?

    these are yummy :-)

Ok good :) I will have some when munchies attack next!
  117. MrsTinaV

    Starting tomorrow

I'd struggle if I didn't attend a class, it's great to chat to others, have a regular weigh in and have some time just for me :) good luck with your journey x. i'm a cheese addict too but I am used to weighing out cheddar and having a sprinkle of it rather than a smothering :) x.
  118. MrsTinaV

    these are yummy :-)

I have some of the mallows in the cupboard but haven't tried them yet. My mum thought they tasted slightly dry though?
  119. MrsTinaV

Too much fruit?! Also propoints help!

I thought the same as uyou about fruit until i posted on here recently :) I think its the sugars in fruit that can cause problems, but it's a case of seeing how it works for you and 5 portions of fruit and vege is the minimum for good health.

  128. MrsTinaV

Pretty much a vegetarian and feeling hungry!

Ooh this is great, thanks. I've just been looking at food diaries and was seeing that zero heroes were featuring a lot, I also thought that 5 fruit/veg was a minimum with my previous leader. Where I get so many points I can eat lots more which makes me feel really unfair towards her (if I...

Pretty much a vegetarian and feeling hungry!

Hello all, I have joined WW with my Mum. She is on 26pp and I'm on 49pp so a massive difference! She seems to be struggling with the feeling of hunger side more than me and our leader said 5 portions of fruit and veg a day is best as if you go over then they can affect you because of the...

    Restarting after meeting closed..

Hello all, i joined a WW meeting in June 12 which I really loved. I got to meet new Friends & it was at the weekend too so perfect for me. I was doing really well and re-educating myself. We then got the news that our leader was quitting being a leader for her Children & our meeting closed. My...

    Feeling hopeless :(

Hello, Sorry to hear you're struggling :( do you measure your food where needed? Also what do you drink during the day? Perhaps try drinking a little more water. I have Tetley green tea & honey tea bags which seem to help my losses. I can't drink plain green tea so the honey makes it better...

What sort of things have you been having? Well done on your loss so far too. For breakfast I have oat so simple porridge (sachets, not the just add water pots) & these are so filling. I add blueberries sometimes or banana. For lunch warburtons thins are good, 3pp for one, fill with ham or...

    Starting on Monday. Some questions...

Hello, welcome to WW. I've been doing it since June 12 & find it the best plan I've done. I'm really re-educating my very poor nutrition and eating skills. As long as you do what the plan says and take time to plan your food you'll be fine. Xx
  137. MrsTinaV

9 stone off by Christmas challenge anyone?

Hi all, good luck with the losses. I need to lose a further 10 stones, not gonna get there before Xmas I doubt but 4-5 would be the minimum :) xx

I'm rather late on this but I also have a similar amount to lose. How are you getting on?
  144. MrsTinaV

What do you do with your weeklies?

I do a mixture really. I weigh in on Saturday and tend to have a treat afterwards out of it. They really aren't for emergencies and are there to help you whenever you need them. They're also good if you do go out for a meal or something too, like you say. I've found that I usually use between...

    Changes Afoot?

I know about the price increased but not the meetings being cut. Surely that can't happen tho as there will be no talk and members get massive support from the talk too. I can't see it happening.

5 stone to lose.Team mates please?!!

I have more than double that amount to lose. Would be great to team up :)

New to ww - ex sw'er

Hiya :) I'm an ex SW too. Also found it restrictive and no portion control encouraged either. Also didn't feel good doing it either. I have many many stones to lose and have been doing WW since 21st June and now lost 13lbs. I gained a couple of weeks as I didn't track. It really is so important...

I'm 27 and have 12 stone to lose..

Hi all Wow seeing the fact that I have 12stone 1lb to lose on the menu at the left hand side really has shocked me. I knew I had to lose a LOT but somehow seeing it in print like that really shows! I would love to make new friends on here for support. I've previously done SW, an old version...

Newbie to WW, this is IT!

Hi all I'm Tina....I'm 27 and weigh just under 4.5 stone less than my age. Shocking basically. I have been overweight since the first year or so of High School. I've always been the fat one out of my friends and now it's got ridiculous. I have done WW many years ago and I did so well on it. I...
