♥~ Tanya's Maintainence Diary - Year 3 - Diary of a runner! ~♥

Hi summergurl

I remember reading your posts way back when I did LT in 2010 and your posts are very inspiring. In fact you have motivated me to start running as well.
Unfortunately I have not been as successful as you, your maintainence dairy is incredible :0clapper:...I keep falling on and off 'the wagon'.
However I have discovered a very good book by Susie Orbach 'On Eating' and have begun the dieting...or non dieting approach from a different angle. So far so good :fingerscrossed:
Just dropped in to say thanks for being such a good motivator to us all :)

Aw thanks hun. Not sure how much of a motivator I am at the minute with all the naughties i'm eating but i'll get back on track hopefully soon.

Been and joined the fitness centre today. Looking forward to my first class. I'm thinking i'll see how I feel friday after a few drinks tomorrow evening and if I feel ok I might go for my first class :) Stevie's going to kick my butt if I don't go to atleast 4 a week as I've got to justify spending an extra £34 a month when I should really be saving it!

Up super early today but thats not too bad as I'm finishing work today at 3am and then i'm not back in untill the 6th of feb. Off to see Grandad today for the last time :(

Hope you were okay today Tan :(

I'll be thinking about you tomorrow sweetie ****hugs**** xxxx

Picked a bit today for no reason other than boredom I can only imagine. It's so hard to get a grip of it right now :( :sigh:

Been to see Grandad. He looked so peaceful. Tomorrow is going to be horrendous I really really don't want tomorrow to come.

Food will be out the window again tomorrow, there'll be alcohol involved tomorrow too.

Thinking of you for the funeral tomorrow. I hope granda gives you all the strength to get through the day.
Take care. Xxx

Thinking of you today x

Big hugs for today hun xxxx

Thoughts are with u today xx

Thinking of u hun x

Thanks guys & Jan & Mary thanks for the texts :)

Grandad had a lovely send off. So many people came there werent enough seats and people were standing during the service. He sure was a loved man. He's missed so much and it's finally hitting home that he's not around, he's not just in hospital he's actually gone and i'll never get to see him again :(

The 'wake' was lovely. We only wanted family flowers and so there was a collection for help for heroes and rnli and people were so generous and raised almost £170! Grandad would be pleased at that!

That day food was rubbish. Toast for breakfast, chocolate, buffet food and then a pint of fosters (grandads drink) then rose wine and v&d.c's.

Friday wasnt much better

Today am off to Newquay. I've had breakfast but will get something in the train station for lunch and i'll keep track of food and update when i'm back. I doubt i'll calorie count. It'd be pointless there'd be too many on alcohol alone ;)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx

Well that's a hurdle over with hon .... I hope the weekend helps you get back on a bit of an even keel though things will never be the same again - you'll just learn to live with them the way they are now and time will make that easier .... promise xxxx

Hope you're having a nice relaxing time in Newquay, I think the break and rest will do you the world of good.

Had a nice time. It was nice to just get away. Basically spent the time eating and drinking. I'll list all I had, its from memory but I think I can remember everything. I have 100% over indulged but its my brothers 18th tomorrow so were off bowling, drinks, food & casino so i'll enjoy one more day then back to it wednesday.

Went to go to a spin class this evening but it was full so ended up doing body jam which I really didnt enjoy. Defo wont be going to that one again. I havent ran since tuesday so think I might squeeze one in on thursday and a class and then a class or 2 on friday then get back to my 1/2 training plan next week.

Food might not be particularly 'good' but looks scrummy!!! ;)

Glad you enjoyed your weekend, don't carry things on too long or you'll only end up cross with yourself :) xx

Nup! I'll be back to it Wednesday (Except for the alcohol fri& sat).

Scoffing my face isn't going to change things and so Wednesday it has to be :)

Glad you had a good time at Newquay. So, you overindulged this weekend, you know you can pull things back when you need to and you can! Bet you're looking forward to going for a run again.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time Tanya, and you definitely deserved the break.

Good luck for getting back on track kiddo xx
