15-minute rule?

Yeah they do. I doubt you'd need to chuck it for a one-off memory lapse though, it's only that some of the vitamins will start to deteriorate after that time.
I make mine at 6.30am, and drink it at 8am

Some of the vitamins are water-soluble so if you do not consume your shake within this time they begin to break down and lose their nutritional value.

They include B-complex vitamins and vitamin C. They dissolve in water and are not stored by the body.

You could always google water-soluble vitamins if you wanted to know more about them and the part they play in keeping you healthy.
