15 weeks on the diet and..

    this is the only week I gained:cry:

    I was expecting to stay the same, because I did a PV week as I can't stomach any kind of protein alone.. I don't mean I lived on veggies, I just had a small salad with my protein meals..

    Now I have a question..
    How do I stabilise my weight with the extra carbs in conso if I gain during a PV week? :(

    Don't worry - that was not a 'gain' in the conventional sense, just an adjustments to the water (glycogen?) stored in your body. Not fat. If you always weight after a PP day then weighing after a PV day may well show a slight gain every time.
    Stick to the PV and you should see the (slightly slower) losses continue. then when you introduce the carbs again it will be the same, a small initial gain that will then balance out and settle down. You have to trust the plan and make sure you follow it to the letter. Don't let small fluctuation panic you into drastic action (yes I've bee there too...)

    Great work, keep it up and don't be discouraged by small numerical changes. As you can see I'm currently way over target - it's all my own fault, too many 'celebration' meals - but I know I can get back down without going back to attack and cruise. And in fact my body LOOKS the same nor do my clothes register any gain so sometimes it's just the number on the scales playing tricks on you!

    Thank you Anjuschka, as you said I lost 3 pounds this week already before weigh in day and reached a mini goal:)

    Do you think it is better to do a pre-conso (conso without celebration meals ) before moving to conso? I don't mind weight loss being slow after this point at all, but as you can see I panic when I see an increase so maybe I am not ready and should continue on cruise until goal.. So confused..

    By only weighing after a PP day you will lose the water and temporary carb gains accululated throughout the week! Don't worry if you gain some weeks, you will probably lose some weight too. It all evens out (look at my stats in sig).

    Follow conso as in the book and you won't go wrong!
