25 and just getting fatter and fatter! Please HELP me! Before Im double doors sideway

no news at the moment, shes a lot better in herself but still on the oxygen.
Theyre apparently waiting for a specialist to look at her CT scan results but they haven't suddenly started treating her differently so im figuring it cant be anything serious....?!

Hey Emma. Hope you managed to get the day off work and that you got loads done. They definitely would have told you by now if it was something serious. Try not to worry too much. Xxx

I went to fat club on Thursday before the hospital and Id lost 3.5lbs! Must be the stress as I certainly haven't been good!
Mum is slowly getting better, they decided at 10pm last night she is no longer high risk so they moved her wards, think this is the 5th ward since Monday! Shes a lot better in herself but still no diagnosis.

I got most of the jobs done, im still trying to be brave and put the last piece of wallpaper on in the living room, and the ironing hasn't been touched. But full house cleaned, walls, skirtings and all surfaces washed. hall, living room, landing, stairs, kitchen and extension all painted including skirtings! Curtails put up, boxes moved and unpacked. 3 weeks worth of washing washed and dried! Busy busy busy!
Im totally shattered now though - really need a rest but don't think ill get one any time soon.

I haven't been good this week, had good breakfasts and ive missed lunch most of the time but I have had asda pizza twice (you can tell the boys providing food!) I got a McDonalds last night as I was ready to cry with being so tired and hungry and it was 9pm and jst leaving hospital. I had to wait just over 10 mins for it and it wasn't even hot or nice. Defo wont be making that mistake again!

O and my car this morning has told me it has an ABS fault :(
 
This morning Ive had scrambled egg and 2 pieces of HEB toast. Ive just had pasta with leeks, onion and lowlow (wasn't great lol) I am trying to be good ish but its just so tiring.
I have loads of leeks so think ive going to make some leek and potato soup if I can find a simple reciepe, ppl at my group have been doing soups in slow cooker so might give that a bash!

No idea what im having for tea, new ward means visiting is 7-8, I get home about 5.30, and will need to leave 6.40 at the latest for hospital - any ideas?

If I knew when she was getting to come home Id book the day before off so I could just chill but you know what hospitals are like!
P.S The boy cleaned the bathroom for me so that was great - I hate bathrooms!
 
ALSO! Although Im trying not to fall asleep at my desk! Ive been thinking about holidays, namely my lovely return to Turkey in May, which is actually only 6 months and 2 weeks away! If I want to be 11 stone ( I think I need to move my target but will do when im nearer so im not suicidal thinking ive STILL got 3 stone to lose!) that's 3 stone in 6 months, half a stone per month - very do able surely?!!

Mini aim is to be 13 by my birthday24th jan - (2 months)
12 by end of March
11 by end of May (fly 24/25th May)

well done on your loss emma and serious well done on getting the house all sorted for your mam coming home....she will be thrilled x
sometimes these things can't be diagnosed, some of life's little mysteries, at lease your mam is on the mend again, that's the main thing.....xx

Hi Emma, I'm also in the North East and like you I was a skinny teenager who thought she was fat. I was 11st 4 before getting pregnant and even then I wanted to be less. I started SW from home on Monday at 13 st 4, I go on holiday on the 29th November and was saying "I will wait until after christmas", however, I want to get down as much as possible, even if it's 1 or 2lb a week.
I'm aiming to be 10 stone but just having a healthy BMI will do me fine.

Sorry been manic - got told Monday morning mum would be home possibly the end of the week, she got moved wards (5th one I think im 9days) on the afternoon. New ward decided Tuesday morning it was SHUTTING! so discharged everyone!!!!

There was no way she should of been home yet - so I was off work the rest of last week to look after her.
Shes improving and seems lots better, think its getting some sleep as she was awake a lot in hospital.

Food wise I haven't been good - I made 2 cornbeef pies (they've now gone), leek and potato soup (didn't taste of anything and I put in double the amount of leeks!) we've had salmon one night and a takeaway another.

I went to a different group to get weighed, it was horrific - the numbers didn't corralate with my book, my book said id put on 1lb the machine said id lost 2lbs. I knew where the problem had come from and said it was fine. The woman on the scales then felt the need to READ OUT MY WEIGHT!!! and last few weigh ins LOUDLY and there was a huge Q of people stood waiting. I kept telling her it was fine and to stop but she just carried on. In the end I took my card and book from her and walked out! I was furious and quite upset.
Ive put a pound on so Im now 14stone 2.5 which is 0.5lb over having lost 2 stone which isn't great considering in August I was 2lbs away from having lost 2 and a half stone but hey ho im not going to stress.

Charlotte - I think its always the way you don't appreciate what you have until its gone - in my case baggy size 12 jeans!
Youre right to start now as anything you lose is a bonus. where are you going on holiday? Id love another one!

Glad your mam is home. You must be delighted. Oh god I've been so bad. Missed last week's WI. Am so tempted not to go this week and just join back after Xmas but I know I'll just be a stone heavier by then if I do that. Off work today and have been to the supermarket and stocked up on loads of fruit and veg. Maybe I should start writing things down. Not a happy camper :(
 
Have you eaten bad or are you bad cos you didn't go get weighed?
I know ive been saying the same, but think of the damage you will do at Xmas so anything you lose now will help towards that - that's my thinking anyway as I seem to put all forms of hot breaded cheese into my mouth at Christmas time! Ummmm deep fried cheese!

Hope youre off for fun and not being poorly!
Do you have any form of meal plan for the week ahead in place?

Not that ill stick to it, but Ive got 3 freezer teas in mind (using up freezer stuff to make room for the breaded cheese!)
pork meatballs in spicy tomato sauce with raw (obvs!) spinach.
pork and chorizo burgers, with corn on the cob and roasties
Yellow fish with mash/roasties and green beans

I struggle with lunch and breakfast - as itd be easier to have a sandwich at work.. but I usually have bean or egg on toast on a morning for something warm and tastey!

I have been a disgrace with food. Eating all the wrong things and eating all around me. Sandwiches on thick white bread. Crisps. Chinese Saturday night and went the whole hog.... Ribs, fried rice with my main course, prawn crackers. I need my jaw wired shut. I missed last week's WI cause I had an appointment that ran over. Thought I'd be out on time. Have Bolognese in the slow cooker. Loads if mushroom, garlic, grated carrot and extra lean mince, pasata. All free. Gonna chop up a melon and pineapple as well. Loads of salad.
