30 Day shred

    Anyone doing this? Only I couldn't find a recent team so I thought i'd ask!

    I saw a picture of someone on FB who had done this, no cheating and I can honestly say 'wow' she looked amazing afterwards!

    It totally inspired me, and, as my running isn't going so well I need something else to focus on.

    Anyone out there up for a challenge and setting up a team?

    Yes! Count me in! I did it once 2 weeks ago (used to do it) and nearly died haha. I burned for days after so at least you know it works! Are you planning on doing it everyday or every other or some other set up? xxx

    Well during the week I will have to get up extra early to do it but then at the weekend I might have a break, thats if I can actually do the thing!

    When will you be starting?

    I've got weigh in tomorrow so I don't want to hinder it by doing anything out of the norm!

    I'm definitely up for this!

    I started it yesterday and can feel the effects this morning already (Who would've thought reaching up for a glass could be so painful...I blame the push ups! :giggle:). I'm hoping to do it everyday but know I may have a weekend away where I might not be able to fit it in.

    Are you thinking of starting it after your weigh in day?

    Right! I've set my alarm for an hr slot today, going to ask hubs to take little man out and away from the house and I am going to attempt this!

    I fell off the shred wagon on day 3, I had to look after a family member who had fallen ill so haven't had time.

    Back to it tomorrow :) x

    Can't imagine doing it two days in a row right now.....my arms are shaking from the weights!

    Ok so the good news is I did it without stopping which is fab, I can only improve now on level 1, however, the bad news is I've heard that day 3 is the hardest! I can well imagine it too as my muscles are already aching from yesterday so another days worth tomorrow will hurt!!!

    Yes day 3 getting out of bed is hard! Let alone the shred later.

    Decided to take measurements and an wful photo yesterday, hopefully I will now see a difference!

    Well done so far, Lucy! Once you get through the pain barrier of day 3 you will be fine. I found even sitting down hurt haha!

    I'm re-starting this again today. 30 days until my next big night out so hoping to see a real difference. I need to go and buy a new tape measure so I can track inches lost too.

    Yey! Well done you!!!

    Weird tonight, I asked my 3yr old son if I could do my exercise if I gave him the ipad and he agreed, so I did Day3 at 6pm. Good job as he took over an hour to settle tonight and I just know I wouldnt of done it at gone 8pm! Weird how things work out!

    So yes I did find Day 3 hard but found I was watching Natalie more tonight. I can totally do but kicks like her, hardest thing I find is the jump rope as it makes me feel like i'm about to get cramp really badly! Still completed it though and yes i'm sore especially around the knees, bring on Day 4..... :)

    Bit disappointed in myself....I let hubby's relaxed sat afternoon with a glass of scrumpy stop me from shredding.

    Day 5 today instead and I must work the hardest I've done!

    Wow! The difference a day rest made! Either that or I was just pushing myself!!!

    For anyone who's done this you will know what I mean by saying that the only non 'Natalie' move I can do is the sit ups now, hopefully by the end of Level 1 I can do them!

    Day 5 Level 1 DONE!

    I love Jillians 30 day shred, I noticed that there's a new one coming out in about a week. Shred it with weights but it gets mixed reviews on amazon.com, I have moved onto T25 and just love it
