810 question!!

Hello everyone,

Quick question - would like to do a stir fry type thing when im on 810 - can you use the spray oil stuff? I dont want to do anything im not allowed, stepping up the meal plans is the most important thing for me to get right!!

Or if not the spray oil does anyone else do stuff in a wok and how do you do it?:confused:

Hiya - no oil, no...er - I just cook the meat quickly first - put aside - pop a bit of water in the wok to steam the veggies through once the water's evaportaed I add the meat to warm up and serve - not quite the same but your tastes are easier to please on 810, believe me. Or get a non-stick wok!
Thanks.just a bit confused though, as people are using it on the 810 meal ideas sticky at the top.so they are wrong then?

Yes - that thread is full of people taking a few liberties (if you read down far enough you'll see some people getting corrected but it's quite hard to see which ones are correct and which ones aren't) and quite out of date!

Here's the rules (I assume your CDC gave you a booklet?)

No oil to fry (steam or poach). Don't add salt, but herbs, pepper, balsamic or lemon juice are ok. Use fat free salad dressings.
