actual calories or net calories?

From my calculations, you should lose around 4lbs, not counting the calories you lose from working out.
 
Unfortunately it doesn't always work like that. If you look at people doing a VLCD some have weeks of low losses or no losses despite being on 400 - 600 cals a day
 
That's because their body isn't getting enough food or the fact that their body is use to 400-600 and needs a bit of change.
