Advice Please

    Hi Guys,

    Please can you give me some advice as to whether i am doing the SF plan correctly?
    Yesterday i had the following:

    Shakes x 2 = 440 calories
    Nectarine x 2 = 84 calories
    1 x be good to yourself cup a soup = 43 calories
    2 x granary bread no butter = 168 calories
    Dinner Asda chicken tikka masala = 394 calories
    Oven roasted veg = ?? calories
    4 litres water

    Total= 1129 calories

    Am i having too much?

    Today i have had:

    shakes x 2 = 440 calories
    2 x nectarines = 84 calories
    1 x cup a soup = 59 calories
    1 x granary bread no butter 84

    Total so far = 667 calories

    I am worried that i am doing this wrong :(

    Hey Dione,
    according to the plan your meant to have 3 x 100cal snacks, 2 x shakes (or meal bars) and 1 x healthy meal (600 cals), so for example on a good 100% day i usually have a shake for breakfast, some fruit as my snack mid morning, another shake for lunch, more fruit for mid afternoon snack and then my main meal in the evening, with another snack in the evening, obviously you can substitute the fruit for anything up to 100 cals, sometimes if im craving a choc bar ill have a shapers bar as my snack or some snack a jacks.
    so looking at your menus it just looks like you have replaced a shake with some soup which some people prefer to do which is fine, everyone is different!! i, personally, try to stick to it 100% coz if i ate food during the day instead of a shake id just go off on one completely!
    i might have rambled and been no use at all here!!x

    ive been having 2 shakes as well as the cup a soup :( is that wrong?

    You have been having a cuppa soup as a snack? I suppose if under 100cals it's ok! The only thing Is that the bread is over your snack limit at 168cals.... Prehaps only have 1 slice?!

    In theory it's ok, your still under your calorie limit and if it's working for you and you continue to loose, then that's a good thing!

    I always try and have fruit and veggies as my snack as there good for us (and you can have a fair bit for 100cals!!!) Like hayles said if I'm craving chocolat or something I might have a low calorie choccy bar (my fav is choc mint special k bliss)!

    Thanks guys,

    I brought the soups at the weekend and thought i would have them as a snack but not sure whether to carry on now. I only had 1 slice of bread today. Maybe i can have 1 iece of fruit and a soup what do you think?

    I thought slim fast calories add up to 1200 a day??
    I find slimfast itself doesn't give much information on instructions. They say their shakes and snacks. But for people who want more variety or can't afford their snacks, they should give more directions.
    I have fruit as my snacks. or cereal bars.

    so true hun. Apparently you can have 2 snacks up to 100cals so i calorie count to make sure i am having the correct amount now xx

    Actually it says your to consume 1,200 cal a day in foot including your shakes woudl be around 1,600 cals a day. I don't follow the plan to a T either Dione and I Lose weight still. my dad goes something like this

    9:30- shake
    11:30 appled sliced in small slices
    1:30 lunch ( i dont drink a shake) I eat a salad with lots of veggies sometimes a lil protein and light dressing
    3:30 yogurt or a cottage cheese fruit double
    5:30 Dinner what ever I make for my family I eat but i make sure to keep my portions right
    8:00 sugar free jello with one spoonful of sugar free cool whip
    and I only drink water.

    Our bodys lose more weight then the foods we eat are more natural like fruits and lean meats and water. I try to stay within this saying but its not always easy :0)
