Advise pls...

Hello all...I am currently doing LL and finish my 14 weeks foundation in just over 3 weeks. My initial plan was to go onto RTM (Route to Management) but since the Summer is nearly here and I have many social events I am considering doing either WW or SW.

Has anyone here gone from Lighter Life or Cambridge to either of these? If so did you gain weight from going fomr the 500 cals to higher on the other plans.

I deally I will still need to drop a stone at the end of Foundation so I hope to do this on the new plan.

Not personally but I do know that plenty on here have. I think that you will generally gain in the first week or two while your body adjusts to the change but then you will start to lose again. The loss will be slower than what you are used to but SW is great for the summer as you can eat unlimited fruit and salads and red days are great for BBQ's. Make the choice based on what will fit in best with your lifestyle and good luck x

I am familiar with have WW works but with SW I'm not sure how you count things like alcohol. Is it easy to be able to fit this into the plan and still lose?

Oh yes most definately. What is your drink? I'm a vodka girl and a single shot is 2.5 Syns (usually allowed 10 - 15 yns per day) and there is a huge range of free foods so if you work it right you can use your entire days allowance on alcohol. If I'm having a BBQ (which I do a LOT in the summer) I have a red day and get loads of free meats for the BBQ and use my Syns for vodka and use free mixers (diet soft drinks etc).

If you choose to go with SW you will find out more about it and learn how to get round socialising with things like Flexi-Syns (which I won't go into as I don't want to confuse you but makes nights out easier to manage). It sounds complicated at first but it really couldn't be simpler.
