Total Solution All or nothing

I'm starting to feel weak and light-headed, too. I thought at first it was down to having a bad cold and cough but I've been under the weather for a week or two. No energy and sort of can't-be-bothered about most things! I hope energy levels improve for both of us x

Well... I'd love to sit here telling you that we are all healthy and I've had a great week on plan so far, but you know I'd be lying! I've got an ear/ throat infection and my poor baby girl has chickenpox! When will it end!!!! Drs say it happens to some when a child starts school and it'll soon pass, not soon enough if you ask me. I'm so fed up of us all being ill!

So so it's been an on and off plan this week, the Positives is that I managed to get a couple of days of lots of walking in before illness hit again.

although in a way I am feeling positive, it's a year ago this weekend that I got all dressed up and hair done to go to an evening reception of a wedding. It was before I'd lost any weight and I was 17st something. I felt so self conscious and barely moved all night, I hated the pictures of myself afterwards even though I'd made an effort.
so I've been reminding myself, even though things haven't gone to plan recently and life has got in the way I'm still 3 stone lighter than last year and feeling a whole lot better about myself.

And this new dress ive got for the wedding in March proves that, it's just above knee length and like a light blue/ lilac colour and I feel lovely in it. I'll try and find a photo.

Saying all this though I've bought a fair few size 14s lately that are still a bit tight to wear so I do need to shift my bum and sort myself out!

Sorry to hear that you and your family have been so I'll lately poppy! Not fun at all to be dealing with and trying to diet.

I'm glad that you've managed to find the positives out of it all and it is truly an achievement to realise you are no where near as heavy as last year. You'll get there eventually, but at least for this wedding you'll be feeling good in your skin, hopefully spring time is kinder in terms of illnesses for you!

That is a beautiful dress and I'm sure that you'll look stunning in it.

Sorry to hear you and your daughter are poorly. Just think of getting it all out of the way for a healthy spring and summer. That dress is truly gorgeous! I really love it and I'm sure you will look amazing in it. You are no where near what weight you were last year so glow with pride and flaunt your new look !

well we are still not good, I can't hear properly because of this silly ear infection, it's very off putting and difficult when I've been out. My poor baby has spots all over her, she seems to have got it far wose than my son did, her poor face looks awful and it's horrible hearing her cry because shes so itchy.

So this week I've stayed the same. New week, time to try again.
I think I have about 31 days until the family wedding, so just going to try my best and see what I can do.

So here's to day 1/31.

sorry for being quiet again, my sore throat and ear are still lingering and ive felt rubbish.

I need to ask for everyone's opinion, I now have two dresses for the wedding next month and can't decide which one.

Ignore me I look a mess but those are the two dresses I have to decide on. I have navy blue shoes and accessories.

I love over the bluey one, it's so different to what I'd normally go for, I think the pink is what I'd normally go for and looks more flattering on maybe.
 
Both gorgeous dresses! Go with what makes you feel comfortable, I prefer the neckline on the red one if you got it flaunt it! lol x
 
I think the red one is more flattering but I think that you should go for the blue one; it still looks beautiful on you but more subtle :)
 
Tough call poppy. I like the fit and colour of the red but the blue looks good too, especially with navy accessories, do you have a shrug or cardy to wear with the blue? You're looking fab. X
 
I think the cut and the length on the red one is more flattering, but the blue one by no means looks awful and you definitely could wear it if you wanted to :) Perhaps a bit of fake tan with the blue would also be good, as it's such a pale colour. I quite like the wash off bronzers in the winter for a quick fix as you don't have to mess around waiting for them to develop, etc. Then again, the navy accessories will probably help balance it all out if you're not into that sort of thing :)
 
Definitely the pink one - it's cut and style and colour is more flattering on you. It's lovely
 
Or wear the blue for the day and the glam pink for the night!

i love the blue, it makes me feel great but I know the pink is more flattering style wise and I do like that too. So I'm going to send the blue one back. I'd love to keep both but they are just too expensive so I'll definately have to return one and I think it's the blue. I blame the husband for making me try more dresses on! But liking two dresses is a definite change from a year ago when I wouldn't have liked any!

Well diet wise things aren't good! I seem to definately be all or nothing these days, it's diet or binge which isn't good. I seem to be making excuses lately which I need to stop doing and start the shakes again!

But I have a plan. I'm off out for the day with my son tommorow just me and him, we are going to the cinema, for lunch and to the museum, which I'm going to enjoy as we dont get much time just the two of us. It's three weeks on Saturday until the wedding, so my plan is to get back on it on Friday, three weeks on plan and then two days off plan for the wedding and Mother's Day and then back on plan on Monday 16th March for the foreseeable future. I was looking back at my diary and first time I started I managed to lose a stone and a half in my first three weeks, don't think if that would happen again but It would be great if it did!

I going to be back on here and accountable again. Back on plan, lose the weight and think of a healthy way of keeping it off long term.
