Always wanted to be a size 16 now buying 14's!!

Hiya everyone

Wasn't sure where to post on the board so I am gonna take root on this part.

I have done just about every diet going over the years and I am now finally sick!!!

I need to shift this weight once and for all and I know it has to include exercise.

I am following the biggest loser diet and have joined the club on the website. It is very good giving you diet and exercise advice and I have opted for the food replacement shakes as part of the plan.

I have bought an exercise dvd so if I don't get to the gym I have no excuses.

I am going to book a holiday now for April so that gives me just under 3 months and I wanna loose 3 stone in that time.

Anyway, feel free to leave me comments and I will pop back later on or if not tomorrow is Day 1.

Well here goes - Day 1 -

I have been off work 3 days as my daughter has swine flu so unfortunately no gym for me!!

BUT I bought the Claire Nasir DVD, watched it last night with a bag of mini cream eggs (as you do!) and gonna give it a go today. It is 4 x 20 minute sessions and does look good, not too complicated and repetative which is what I like I have no coordination.

So plan for today is
Brekkie - Biggest loser shake and an orange

Dinner - Biggest loser shake and some veg sticks and hummous or salsa

Tea - Turkey breast, veg sweet chilli sauce and probably pineapple and yogurt.

I was set a calorie allowance on the Biggest Loser Club site of 2100 calories!!!! But I have changed it to 1200 as I wanna lose quite quick with going away in April.

Anyway people I will be back later on to let youknow how I get on with the dvd! Wish me luck.

Well I have done the first 2 x 20 minute sessions on the dvd, my oh my, sweating like mad, really impressed. Its easy to follow and repeats moves which is good for me as i have little coordination. Hope it works!! Might try and do the other 2 sessions later on x

Just to say good luck with your diet :D I was wondering about the Claire Nazir DVD (Is that right) I may get it Im not very good with exercise DVDs I tend to give up easily .
I look forward to seeing how you get on :D

i am seeing my cambridge counsellor tomorow for shakes, I cant do the biggest loser shakes they are vile, no taste whatsoever.

I have loads of the shakes as well, typical of me to stock up before trying them.

It is all about personal taste and you might like them, personally I didnt, and the snack bar wasnt too good either.

Have you joined the biggest loser website? That is something I will use in the future it s really good and counts all your calories, fat carbs protein etc... breaks it all down for you. And there is exercise videos on there. Definately wrth the money if you need the help.

And by the way dont think there is much difference between slimfast shakes and these! The slimfast definately taste much nicer as well x

I was thinking about joining, maybe when we get paid as don't have the money just now. I didnt realise you have to buy the stuff on-line to join.

I was thinking that myself when I went to buy the stuff in tesco that prob b as well doing the slim fast. was in a rush though so didnt have the time to compare. Might do next week.

Well went to tesco today and bought the starter pack for the biggest loser I am going to do this diet for a couple of weeks to get some fast results. I am fed up with my clothes being too tight for me just now.

Also went to the bowling club and paid the deposit for our engagement party so that's it booked for 25th June this year. Can't wait!

Still get weighed at my slimming world group because this is the diet I will eventually follow when I am sick of shakes!!

In 2 weeks I have lost 7.5 pounds so really happy with that. If I can try and lose 3 a week I should lose 3 stone by my hols which is what I want to do.

you just reminded me that slimming world do really good meetings as well and a really good for group support.At least the one I used to go to was..it was just at this odd time on wednesday evenings 7.15 or something, but it was a really lovely church hall with soft brown wooden floors and a great atmosphere,

Hiya everyone

Been really busy at work and busy nights so have neglected my diary!

Yeah I am exercising, i have a gym membership but its so busy in january i am giving it a miss. I have got clare nasir dvd and im loving it, really good. I also go on flabelos machines (vibration plates) four times a week at the sunbed shop, dont think they do much for weight loss but hopefully will help with toning.

Diet going well I think!!! Weigh in will prove it, but I had done a couple of days on cabridge before last weigh in so not sure!

Been having a slimfast shake for brekkie (just to use them up!) then soup for lunch and a protein and veg meal on a night, trying to avoid snacking but have had a few rice cakes!

Anyway see you all soon

It is good to have healthy snacks during the day (like fruit) it keeps your metabolism going xx U should aim to eat every 2-3 hours
