Amazed myself...

Today I did something that I never dreamed I would manage.
Don't know if any of you have heard of 'The Wrekin'
It is a local beauty spot that is a very high steep hill that takes roughly an hour to walk up.
I've lived here in Telford all my life and never attempted it.
Today I did.
It was hard,it hurt like hell but I did it.
I cried the last 10 mins of the climb because I had achieved it.
I was not going to let it beat me...pretty much how I feel about this diet.
The views were amazing and it was so fulfilling to complete it.
Then it threw it down with rain, I got soaking wet and was freezing on the way back down but you know what? I didn't care a hoot!!!
Then I slept for 2 hours when I got home!!
Just wanted to share it with you all. X

Hey Jambro i battled the wrekin last year
almost killed me but i did it and took pics of when i reached the top
hoping to tackle it again this year but more quickly than last time
i can see the top of the wrekin from my house
well done for getting to the top

Oh I'm so glad someone knows what and where I am on about!!
It's a killer isn't it?
I ache all over this morning. I don't think I will be tackling it again just yet. I need to get over this climb first!!
