Ull have a great time we go to Cala Dor the quiet part of the island its perfect for us but this yearwe will hire a car and tour for our anniversary i want to palma and santa ponsa i keep hearing that they are great places. Yes we are off to Santa Ponsa. 7 Nights b&b 4* hotel only cost us £151. Really can't knock that!!!

I'm really struggling to get my bank account back into the black, plus poorly ancient old pussy cat is restricting us going away. I think this year will have to be very short breaks , and mainly just OH going. 
BUT, I have finally found another lunatic who wants to go to the Fitness Fiesta with me (a whole weekend of exercise classes at a holiday camp - not everyones cup of tea I know). Very excited!!!

Just seen you're in Cambridge....so am I, well near enough!
We are off to rural mainland spain this year. Our friends that we are going away with have friends that moved out there a few years ago so we are going with them as they want us to see all the lovely uncommercialised areas. Apparently hardly anyone speaks English so it should be fun given that our spanish is very limited.
We will also get in a few weekend breaks, my in laws have a static caravan in north wales so whenever we want to go there we can.
Next years holiday is a big one though, we are planning on vegas then california. Not sorted the finer details yet but it will probably be about 3 weeks.

I bet your hols in rural Spain will be brill, such an eye opener, you'll get to see 'real' Spain.
We've been to Vegas, I loved it but OH didn't, I 'met' Elvis 3 times whilst there

North, we have a place on Tamaragua, Corralejo. We're taking MiL, which will be a challenge in itself seeing as she is practically wheelchair bound If it doesn't work out I'm not too bothered as we're off on hols again in June, so it's not like it's my only holiday.
We're also going to do some geocaching & we're going to get MiL involved with that, so if you see somebody pushing a wheelchair up a hill, it's probably me

Yipeeeeeeeee, I only realised yesterday it's just 5 weeks until we go, can't wait Unfortunately we're not too sure if MiL will be able to make it, she's in hospital at the mo & they're not too sure whats wrong with her
If you're going south I'd recommend going to Coffe & Vinter's villa, the view as you drive there is amazing, you'll know when you've arrived at the 'view'

Sorry it's not Coffe it's Cofete You drive to Morro del Jable then follow the road to Cofete. The road is a bit dodgy at times but it's well worth it.
If you take a look on the link you can just about see the road

When you follow the road round & get to the amazing view in the distance you'll see Vinters Villa. Vinters Villa is apparently where Hilter was going to stay, and there is supposedly a submarine pen & there used to be a runway.
