I hope we will go for the set menu because it's cheaper and I really hate spending money on food I know I'll end up either pushing around my plate and not eating or devouring it feeling so sick that I actually am.

Every week I try to be focused something comes up.

I'm are if you just eat lots of SF this week it will help. Things always seem to pop up & its not the end of the world if you get a sts or even a small gain, you should see my stats they're all over the place! SW is lifelong & meals out will happen to us all, just go & enjoy it & make as sensible a choice as you can. I know its frustrating/annoying, but try not to be as its only 1 meal out of 21! X

Mmm I think I'll do that tomorrow, got some extra lean beef mince from the reduced section of tesco, has to be ate tomorrow so will use half and then freeze half. Every time I make them they seem a bit dry, what else can I put in them to make them a bit more moist?

If you have a look back thru today posts, I posted the recipe for Charlie.....delicious x

Kim your just always full of super advice and always make me feel better :) your right it is lifelong and I will be joining Charlie at 119lbs whether it takes me 8 weeks or 8months!

Lots to catch up on today! Hope everyone had a fab weekend.

I've been feeling crappy all day and my food hasn't been good. Didn't manage any exercise either although have been sorting my garden out as just moved house and living with my oh for the first time!

Trying to get my 5k time down. Can now do it in 23 mins but would love to get it down more. I think intervals are great - especially for weight loss xx

I agree totally - I don't think it's having meals off plan which is the problem - its falling off the wagon for days/weeks xx

EXACTLY!!!!! Thanks Nikki, as I thought I may have come across as a bit harsh & that wasn't the intention. Sometimes its hard to type what you want to say & with no facial expressions its difficult sometimes! I have a day off plan most weeks mainly on a Friday as that's when DH & I can sit, chew the fat & have drink. I have no guilt, my losses are probably slower because of it, but its what we enjoy as a couple & why should my 'diet' interfere with us as a couple. I love a drink so why not. Last year when I lost 38lbs it took 38 weeks, hence why I gave myself 28 weeks to lose 28lbs this time. When I get to target this is how I will maintain as well....SW everyday but if I want a meal out/ drinks it will fit in like it does now.
Life is too short to not be able to enjoy ourselves & we should never have guilt about doing that. We are prolonging our lives by eating healthily & exercising, so an odd meal/drink won't jeopardize it!
Blimey I do go on! But I hope you get the jist of what I'm trying to say, but its my opinion & someone somewhere I'm sure would disagree!!! X

Ooh how exciting, but gardening is good body magic!
Do you do any distance/ endurance training.....I was better at that than short fast runs. Once id been goin for about 15 mins & warmed up there was no stopping me when I got going....I'm like that on my bike now & have to limit myself or I'm out for hours! X

You speak such sense though :) its great to have such support from all you lovely ladies and I actually am better on plan knowing I have to confess all to all of you rather than just a quick hop on the scale at group and run! I think I'll struggle at maintaining but then if I stick to plan 6 days a week ad have a day off plan then that might help me maintain. X

I have Thursday and Sunday to contend with but then nothing else right up to may bank holiday so probably 4 full weeks on plan :) x

I did this morning but can't go now. Good job I got two Weeks off work!

Just been drinking loads of water n took some tablets for tummy cramps.

I like the sounds of the 119 forever group. Even if it takes me a while to get there I will and I will stay there! Was looking in mirror earlier and I defo don't think I will be happy at,9 6. I still have a right tum and massive thighs. I think 119 is the future! Though 118 would be my 4.5stone award lol x

I'm only 5foot2. Not even in healthy bmi yet buuuut I started off with a bmi of 33 so not going too bad :) think it's 26 at the moment. If I went to 118 my bmi would be 21.8 which is just under ideal :-D

Argh! My phone has failed to let me know about all these posts!

But the gist is that I definitely agree with Kim and Whitey - life is too short and one meal is better than going off plan for a week! An STS or even a gain doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things as you have already come so far and you'll continue to do well if you allow yourself these things and enjoy slimming world in the long term :)

And whitey - 23 mins for 5km is very impressive! What speed(s) do you run at?
