Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

The horrendous stomach pains r back :-( no sleep for me tonight!

I wander if you have a bit of IBS? Do you eat a lot of wheat? What are the pains like? Could it be gynae? Think you should get checked out by the GP as its been going on for a while now. Hope you feel better soon x

Feel really rubbish today :-( my whole body hurts and not hungry at all. Oh and its the dreaded meal out tonight.

Oh dear, another poorly chick! x Its probably the Abx as they can be quite toxic to the system. Make sure you eat & see if you can get some of that Pepto Bismol, its not very expensive. Im sure the restaurant will be able to knock you up a steak & salad if you ask & try not to be tempted by the naughties! x

I managed boot camp! Was an early start but couldn't face coming on here and saying I'd chickened out ;)

Ooh well done, braver lady than me getting up so early in this horrid weather! x

Hi welcome oh no another young one !!! ;-) only kidding ;-)

Morning ladies
I'm so happy this morning hope you can all see my big smile :) :) :) :)
This is my scales this morning

View attachment 45389

Woohoo not weight 9.7 since 1995 that's 17 years ago OMG I feel fantastic !!!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to all you lovely ladies for all your help and advise on this thread and making me feel part of the group it really is keeping me going and you're all inspiring me to reach target.

I know I'm not doing the 119's ( I do feel that would be too low for me) but I plan now to get to 9.4 and then hopefully maintain that, giving me 4-5 lb range to play with, I feel ok at 9.9 so that will be my top weight.
Thanks again hope everyone has a good day
Keep smiling :) xx

Aaw, thank you. Thats what we're here for, help, encouragement, motivation & a telling off of course when there are sneaky WI's mid week lol! Well done thats a fab loss & love the scales pic lol!

Hi Tuesday,
That's a great name! I'm Shellie and as my user name says, I am definitely not in my 20's!! It won't be long until you reach your target goal! X

Hope everyone else is well today?
Just trying to motivate myself to do some cleaning up. At the moment, I desperately need an ironing fairy! Three children (two of whom are teenagers) and a sports mad husband equals an awful lot of ironing :-(.

I've set myself some goals for this week. They include having syns as part of meals and not added extras (there's a new thread on this today). If I have a 100% week, with no alcohol, I'm going to push for a decent weight loss next week.

Better start moving now. 9 1/2 hours to WI and the all too familiar cramps have started :-(. X

Cant you get them to do their own ironing??????!!!!!!! x

Not at all!
Basically, I tend to just use my syns on wine. That's not bad in itself, but I really notice a dip in my energy levels on the day after I've had a drink.
When I got to target last time, I hardly drank and so my syns went into meals. Ive always had good losses (just lucky, I guess), but then I would have massive ones! On the day I hit target at 8stone 3, I lost 5.5lbs in that week!
I'm really not a chocolate person and I now wine is my downfall (and the reason why I put weight on) so it makes sense!
Have a read of the thread, several other people are saying the same thing. X

Ha ha! I used to be like that, but dont drink in the week at all now & if I do at the weekend, I have an off plan day so dont count the syns in wine lol! I have no discipline when it comes to wine so I would rather do without & use my syns on other things & chocolate of course. I cant just stop at 1 drink as I have no willpower! Hence, why I just go off plan & get straight back on the next day! x

Ladies, you all do a lot of running or exercise in general. Can you recommend a pair of running shoes? Mine are awful =/

As Lynica says, its probably best you go to a specialist running shop to get properly fitted if you're quite serious about running. Can be a bit pricey tho! Another thing you could do, which is a bit cheeky, go to the specialist shop, get fitted & then go & order the same shoe off the internet! I did that with my Aisic Gels & saved about £40! x

Right in the middle at the bottom of my ribs (been told this is where my stomach is lol) it feels like someone is squeezing it really tight then letting go!

How very odd! I would go to your GP, especially as the bank holiday weekend is coming up & its been going on for a while. I'll have a think on it, but cant imagine what it could be! Sometimes, it can be an unexplained virus. Have you been sick/diarrhoea with it this time? x

Nope just the pain. Rang the docs n they said they cun get me in till Tuesday so I told them it was an emergency so they're phoning back!

I have relented to the DH! He's been batting his baby blue at me for weeks now about getting a new bike & today he went & ordered it coz it was 20% off, so quite a lot of money off! Im really happy for him, as he has this mammoth road cycle in July from Lands End to John O'Groates & hopefully this will make it a bit easier for him. My compromise was for him to buy me a new outfit for a wedding we're going to in July, even tho he says I have enough outfits, but a girl needs something new for a wedding doesn't she! x

Surely he doesn't think you can wear something that you have worn before. Honestly do men not know us by now!

Exactly my point! The people we're going with wont have seen me in any 'posh' frock, so in theory I could wear something from my wardrobe, but if he can get a new bike I can have a new outfit & a darn site cheaper it will be as well!
I do have a lovely trouser suit that he bought me & it cost about £300 8 years ago!!! Its still fashionable, but the weddings in July so might be a bit too hot, so I fancy a dress x

Hope you get an answer really soon. I think it is definitely a good idea to get yourself seen before the bank holidays.
Do you have a Walk in Centre where you live? We've often used ours out of hours and at weekends.

Kim-boys ironing?!!! That's almost funny! Seriously though, I am starting to think that no.1 son should do his, especially as he is 16 this year.

Stomach cramps, think totm is here. Just want a hot water bottle and to cuddle up on the sofa.

Trainers, I have asics. I did go and have some advice as I wanted plenty of bounce to avoid stress on my knee. I've also got some great adidas ones which are incredibly comfy (look horrible though!). X

Good for you!
Sounds life a perfectly reasonable thing to do!! X

Ladies... What do you think if I had tonight the grilled salmon with prawn and chorizo risotto?! Does risotto have cream in usually? Not a fan of salmon but it seems the safest bet. I know I'll have to syn my chorizo so I think 5 syns will cover it. Also I'm saving my HEXA and HEXB.

Wow that's a big bike ride !!! Is he doing it for a charity or just pure pleasure ? ;-)
Definately think a new outfit is called for especially for a summer wedding, some beautiful dresses around, photos please :)

It's a really posh Ala carte place and don't think they would appreciate me switching and swapping from the menu.

Still not eaten yet and not hungry at all. I ate 1 boiled sweet and that made me gagg.

Really want to just get home and lay on the sofa with a bowl of soup or something x

It won't have cream, but will have butter, oil and cheese. Maybe even creme fraiche, if it's described as "creamy"

Its difficult to say whether it will have cream in, coz some do & some dont, but it will probably be cooked in butter, oil, cheese & wine! To be safe can you not have salmon/steak & salad? But there again, it is only one meal out of 21, just stay on plan for the next few weeks x

He's doing it for a military charity with our nephew who's only 16, but a very good cyclist. They hope to do it in 72 hours, doing 4 on 4 off. So when one of them is riding the other rests & so on. Im going up in a motorhome as support crew with a couple of friends to drive, so its going to be an exhausting few days but well worth it & we're really excited!
Think I will get the new outfit in early July as I'll be nearly, if not at target then! No point getting it now as a have a stone to go & my body shape will have changed a lot by then.....hopefully! x

I think that's very fair. You deserve something new - especially for a wedding!

Boot camp was good - not too brutal, lots of squats and loads of press ups (120!!). It was definitely harder than id push myself if I was on my own and good to get some variety other than running I guess....x

They range back n said sounds like acid reflux. Seen as it's worse at might when i'm laid down.
It's lovely today. Sat out in the sun with half a melon. Yum yum x
